The love of two moons

Now I know what you are

Today is the day,Everybody's gathered up with the Sun in the middle. Walking closer. Luna sees a light. It's not coming from the Sun or yellow. It's red.
Who is red that Luna knows very well?

Nemisis.

Sun notices too,the others are busy talking.

"Nemisis! My brother!" He jumps in to hug the star. "Glad to see you Sun."He says,lying but having his eyes fixed on Luna. The moon can't help it anymore. He needs to. He needs to tell Nemisis what's been going,he's the only one Sun would listen to. He'd listen to Mercury since he is his boyfriend but Mercury doesn't really have the balls to do so. Luna does what he needs to. He pushes past the moving sea of celestial bodies and runs to Nemisis's legs. Clinging to him as if it depended on his life. Sun grimiced at this but couldn't do shit since his brother was there. Everyone just stares not knowing what's happening or why Luna is hugging this random star.

The red dwarf star breaks the hug and kneels down to Luna. "I told you I'd come."
"The others?" He asks "They're on the way." The moon lets go of the leg and goes back to Titan. His lover doesn't question him.

He whispers something in Sun's ear and tells everybody else to leave except for me and two bitches. He guides his gaze to two very specific planets.

"Everybody out,Uranus,keep them together." The ice giant does as he's told.

Jupiter and Saturn.

"Jupiter,Saturn,I've heard a lot of things about you two,not all good."

They look at eachother knewing they fucked up. One more terrified than the other thinking about what might happend to them.

"I've heard something about a planet and a moon. Well,more like two."

"I-" Jupiter makes and effort to step in so him and Saturn could go home all happy.

"Silence. I don't care what you have to say. What you,Saturn and Sun did to my planets and moons is unaceptable."

"Jupiter. Is there something you're not telling me..?"

"Sun-"

"Shut. Up. From what Luna's been telling ne you kicked Hades out?" Nemisis isn't too gratefull.

"No-" Saturn is cut off.

"Don't lie you wannabe Iris bitch. You're not special just because you have rings." Saturn looks at the ground.

"Since you two don't wanna talk to me I'm bringing X in."

"Saturn what if it's-?"

"No! That was in the past and you know it." Before they can even realise it X walks in quietly.

This,was Luna's planet.
The planet that taught him greek mythology and myths and whatever he could.
The planet that wrote down the Illiad and Odyssey for him when he'd be older to better understand it. The other moons weren't there. But he was happy to see him.

"It's been a long time,Ishtar." When they head the familiar voice drag out the moons's actual name,the par look scared for what was about to come.

"It's been a long time since anybody has called me by my real name."

"X. What did Jupiter and Saturn did to you?" Nemisis turns to look at him.

"Kicked me out,obviously." He replies, crossing his arms and tilting his head.

"We know that. I want to know why."

" 'Cause little Zeus's son was so lonley that he thought kicking me out would make Ishtar closer to him."

"Didn't he want to kill the rocky planets?"

"Yeah,but then teeny tiny Earth became his favourite even though he was married to Saturn so,that's pretty much it." Sun looks at them and gives a "You're done" type of look.

"Jupiter. What the fuck is wrong with you?" Nobody had ever heard the Sun cuss,it was like he was alergic to swear words. Now,he seems more angry than ever.

"X-I'm sorry-"

"Oh really? Why did you kick me out then."

"I don't know."

"Huh,such a shame,a walking encyclopedia doesn't know something."

"Can we forget about this and just-"

"Jupiter,don't be sorry,be ashamed,be quiet,be better." And Jupiter's words are out the window. Iris joins them soon but stays out of it and talks to Luna. The rest of Nemisis's Solar System comes along to see their old friend. And then,his auntie,not really his auntie but her and X were great friends. She's called Pheme.

When it all ends everybody parts their ways amd goes back home. Upon reaching his room Luna's greeted by Titan.

"What was that all about?"

"It's a long story..Like,reaally long."
