Sabina yawned and dragged herself towards the bathroom to brush her teeth. The aroma of buttered toast lingered from the dining table.  Ironing her uniform, she neatly tied her hair with a red elastic and attached the monitor badge on her brown necktie. Finishing eating early, she left the house to board the local bus.

It was a ruckus in the classroom. She silenced the students by taking out her 'discipline book', often writing names in it. Just then she heard some people sprinting through the corridors. She peeked outside the classroom and shouted,

"Stop!"

Khushi skidded to the halt, with Badri and Budh almost stumbling on her back.

"Go back to the classroom, Dubey sir will come anytime now!" she declared, showing off the notebook in her hand.

"What's that?" Budh pointed at it.

"A book containing names of the problematic"

"Like you?" Badri snickered, making the monitor scoff.

They returned to their class with the monitor behind. The thing in her hand made her feel like the new authority of power.  Heading back to her seat, she noticed Gyan busy solving algebra.

"Ahem" she coughed.

"Oh, good morning" He looked up, standing and letting her in. After he sat down, he drinker water from his bottle like a duck.

"Good morning," she replied while adjusting her glasses.

"Goooood mooooooorniiiiiiiing" someone spoke from the back. Turning around, they noticed Khushi.

"Is that how you greet others?" Sabina's voice turned acerbic.

"Yup" she said, chugging down water in one go and swiping perspiration off her face. Looking at the empty bottle, she inquired, "Extra water?"

"I have mine" Gyan turned around to search for his bottle and handed it to her.

"Thanks yaar"

"My pleasure"

Khushi began twisting the cap and as she was about to drink, Sabina held her hand.

"What?"

"Umm Khushi?" She gave her own bottle to her, "Why don't you have mine?"

"It's all H2O, Sabina" Gyan giggled.

"My water is mineral, it's very good for your health!"

"In that case I'll have both" she took her water bottle.

"N-No! Keep the first down, mixing two types of water is bad for your tummy!" Sabina tried not to sound sheepish.

Gyan raised an eyebrow.

Khushi shrugged, returning her water bottle back, "By the way, did you write my name in that book?"

"Yes of course! You broke discipline!" Sabina retorted.

"I? Broke discipline?!" she grew dramatic, "Poor discipline! I feel bad for discipline! Have you sent discipline to the hospital?!"

"Discipline cannot get his treatment Khushi!" Gyan joined in, finding the conversation hilarious, "They're asking for money! Lakhs!"

"Hey Bhagwan! " Khushi's fist flew on her head, the other on her chest, "Who's going to save discipline now?! My child!"

"Did you guys watch Star Plus or something?" Karan condescended.

Sabina could not help but snicker, but quickly returned to her strict composure, "Stop it-"

"Gyan!" Khushi exclaimed, "There's only one thing which can save discipline now!"
