I'm sitting in my hotel room, going over my notes for this big meeting I have in the next hour. I really didn't want to go but I had no choice, honestly. I was just ready to get this over with so I can come back and relax. Ever since I've been in LA, I've been nonstop stop busy.
"You ready" I heard Jayda say and I looked up at her and she looked very pretty.
"As I'll ever be" I said while putting my notes in my folder putting them in my backpack so we could leave. Once we left our hotel room we got on the elevator heading to the lobby. This was a pretty hotel and modern. It was a lot of people in the lobby once we got off the elevator. I grabbed Jayda's hand as we walked outside. It was a Black SUV waiting on us.
The place was 15 minutes away from our hotel, so we wasn't in the car for that long.
"Have you heard from one of the boys" I asked Jayda and she looked at me before scrolling on her phone.
"No. But I did hear that it was a big brawl that broke out at the new night club that was just built" she said and I nodded my head at her. My mind started wondering if Dave or Jayceon had something to do with it. I hope not because lord I probably wouldn't be able to help, considering I'm not there.
"Well let's get this conference over with, I hope we aren't here for a long period of time" Jayda said as she opened the door to get out the truck, once we were out the truck we walked into the building and it was people everywhere, different police officers, different warden's all in 1 room. This was low key like a dream come true.
"Oh come on we have to check in and see what room we will be in" Jayda said while walking over to sign in table, once we signed in we got a bag full with items such as paper, pens, pencils, and more.
"I'm in room, 240 on the second floor where are you at" Jayda said while looking at her badge that was given to us when we checked in. I flipped mines over, so I could read the back over it.
"I'm going to room 335 on the third floor" I said kind of sad. This place is too big to be splitting up.
"It's okay girl. Well let's head to where we have to go. I'll see you around lunchtime" Jayda said while giving me a hug. I watched her walk off towards the stairs leading to the second floor, I followed her until I could no longer see her anymore.
"Welp Ari.. let's get this over with" I said as I walked to the stairs leading towards the 3rd floor, it was a lot of warden's I noticed. Once I made my way to the room, I noticed our names were on the table along with 2 bottles of water next to it.
I finally found my name, I sat in the front of the room. First row to be exact. I sat my purse and backpack's down on the floor beside me. I pulled out my new notebook opening it to the 2nd page and pulled out a pen as well.
