"When am I going to see the girls Millie. It's been a month" I said as I sat in my car outside my shop.
"Ion know. When they not busy. When are you gonna come see me" she asked me and I rolled my eyes.
"For what. Don't you got a nigga. I just want to see my daughters and not through social media" I said to her as I inhaled the blunt holding it in my mouth.
"I'll see when I have time to bring them by. But I gotta go. I love you" she said and I had to chuckle before hanging up in her face. She got me fucked up if she think I was going to say it back. I waited for Jalece to come out the shop so I could take her home. I was thinking about giving her the shop since she had been working here since she was 16 years old.
"Can we get some food. I'm starving like my stomach is touching my back" Jalece said as she got in my truck. I laughed before pulling off towards her apartment.
"Why you looking around like something is going to get you" I asked her noticing that she was touching and opening everything.
"Because this shit is niiice. You going to get me one of these. Pleaseeeeee, Daveeeeyyyyy" she asked me begging.
"I tell you what. You continue through school and I'll think about it. Keep staying ontop in your classes and I got you. Deal" I said to her holding my pinky out, knowing she likes pinky promises. I watched her link her pinky with mine.
"Deal" she said with a huge smile on her face. I pulled up to Five Guys. I parked infront of the door, I put my hazard lights on so nobody hit my shit.
"Oooo you love me big brotherrrrr" she said while getting out the truck, slamming my door.
"Her she go slamming my shit." I said to myself. I looked out of my windows taking in my surroundings as I sat and waited for her. You always have to be on your P's and Q's in New York, you never know who is watching you and who is out to get you. But I always keep my strap on me, but still.
*INCOMING CALL FROM MA DUKES* I pressed answer and waited for the phones to connect.
"Boy why haven't you called or been by here" I heard her sweet voice come through my speakers, making me smile.
"I'm sorry ma. I been super busy, with the shop and I just dropped my cologne line as well. I'll stop by later or tomorrow" I told her as I saw Jalece walk out of Five Guys looking mad.
"Mhmmmm yeah yeah. How have you been baby" she asked me. I was about to answer but Jalece got in the truck slamming the door again.
"AYEE little girl. Slam my shit again imma chop your hands off damn" I said as I pulled off towards her house.
