A year has passed since they moved to Tokyo, Japan. It was now September 1, 2012, meaning it was Aidan's 18th birthday. He hadn't told anyone it was his birthday because he didn't seem like it was a big deal to celebrate something such as being born.

Aidan and Daiichi were still friends, and have been dating for almost eight months now. The two were practically inseparable unless Aidan had to go on missions. It has been silent from the other gangs. But Aidan was sent on odd jobs similar to the ones he did when he first arrived here.

He was in his room, working on some homework for his classes. It wasn't a hard degree like going to school to be a doctor, but being a teacher is just as important as being a doctor.

People didn't understand that part, doctors can fix the heart of a child and make them feel better physically and sometimes mentally. But a teacher could reach the heart of that child and mold them, since they are the future. He wanted to mold young minds to be the best they could be. He doesn't know why he wanted to be a teacher, but it was something he always wanted to be since he was in elementary school.

Aidan was focused on his school work, taking notes, and reading his textbook. Suddenly, the lights in his room and everywhere on base went out. He sprung into action, reaching for his laptop. He thought that maybe there was a security breach, so he began typing on his computer, when an email popped up from an unknown sender.

"Come to the basement of your base, if you don't I will make sure to blow it up." - Unknown

Aidan stared at the email, before attaching a knife to his thigh. He then took a gun, and put it in the waistband of his pants. He adjusted his jacket, and silently made his way to the basement. He just hoped no one would question him, because he didn't want to risk everyone's lives.

As he walked through the halls, it was oddly empty. Not a single member of Royal Bastions was hanging out in the hallways. It was quiet, too quiet and Aidan didn't like it. He silently made his way down the stairs to the closed door of the basement. He pressed his ear to the door, but he didn't hear anything. He gripped his gun, as he slowly opened the door to the very dark basement.

He closed his eyes, and could hear the breathing of several intruders. He went to the break box with quiet steps.

'One. Two. Three.'

Aidan flipped the lights on, and pulled his gun out of his waistband, pointing it at Thomas who quickly had his hands up.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" Everyone jumped out, and Aidan quickly put the gun down, and Thomas had a hand over his heart.

"What the fuck was that?" Ian asked, laughing as Aidan placed the gun back in his waistband.

"Seriously? That email was you guys?" Aidan glared at them, and they nodded.

"Yeah if we did it the normal way you would have been suspicious."

"But you had to use that threat of all threats? What the fuck, Thomas almost got shot! Do you not realize how dangerous that is?" Aidan scolded, but then Daiichi placed his hand on Aidan's shoulder, kissing his cheek.

"Calm down, next time we will do it differently, it was Thomas' idea to do it this way, but you are here now it's time to celebrate your birthday," Daiichi said.

Aidan fell quiet, and stared at Daiichi. His cheeks were a light red from the kiss Daiichi gave him, and he looked away grumbling.

"Just don't do it again. How the hell did you guys figure out my birthday anyway?"

"Well, you are in the system of the government. It wasn't hard to figure out your birthday since you attend college," Ian said with a grin.

"You guys are unbelievable."

"Don't be like that AJ, it's your birthday. And we celebrate everyone's birthdays here. It's the day you were born," one of the long-time Royal Bastion gang members said.

Aidan sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Plus you have been locked in your room, if you aren't doing homework, then you are busy hacking, and working even though you don't have to," another gang member said.

"Yes, which means I am too busy to celebrate."

"Well, the Boss-Man said that it's fine for you to take the day off to celebrate today," Thomas and Ian both had smug looks on their faces.

"And you wouldn't want to disappoint Daiichi, would you? After all, he came all the way here to celebrate your special day," Ian said.

"You guys are totally using him to make me do this," Aidan said.

"We are, because you can't tell him no," Thomas said.

"I can tell him no, watch me."

Aidan turned to Daiichi with a straight face.

"Daiichi, n-" Aidan stopped, seeing Daiichi's face. He looked excited, but was about to be upset if Aidan said no on celebrating his birthday.

"Don't give me that look, Daiichi," Aidan said quickly.

"Aren't you gonna tell him?" Thomas asked, and Aidan went to open his mouth.

"Aidan, I really want to celebrate your birthday with you. Since we are dating..."

Aidan puffed his cheeks out, when Daiichi looked at him like that he couldn't tell him no. He didn't have the will to tell him no.

"Fine, we can celebrate my birthday..."

Thomas and Ian both shared knowing looks, and grinned. Daiichi wrapped his arms around Aidan happily.

"Thanks! We have a cake, and we spent so much time decorating down here for you," Daiichi said with the most adorable smile. Aidan fought back a small smile, and sighed softly.

"Alright, alright, I get it. We can have this birthday party..." Aidan said.

The music started, and the party began. Aidan wasn't one for parties, awkwardly standing in the corner but Daiichi pulled Aidan onto the floor dancing.

"You are terrible at dancing," Aidan said, cracking a small smile trying not to laugh. Daiichi had arms flailing around. Thomas was no better, but Thomas grabbed Aidan's arm moving them around.

"Well at least he isn't standing still like a rock," Thomas said, forcing Aidan's body to move. Aidan groaned, he pretended to be annoyed but the look in his eyes told the three of them he was actually enjoying himself.

Daiichi stole Aidan away from Thomas, pulling him to the table of snacks, and stacked his plate with all the junk food he could fit on it.

"You shouldn't eat all of that, Daiichi."

"It's fine, it's a celebration. It's okay to eat a lot on holidays and birthdays."

"Your stomach is gonna hu-" Daiichi shoved a half sandwich in Aidan's mouth, shutting him up completely. Aidan almost choked on the sandwich, taking it out of his mouth. Ian patted Aidan's back while Thomas gave him water. Aidan drank the water fast.

"Sorry, don't die," Daiichi grinned.

"You aren't sorry," Aidan glared.

"I am not sorry, you are right. I didn't mean to make you choke though."

"I hate you..."

"I love you too," he said, stuffing his face with the food on his plate.

Aidan rolled his eyes and started to eat his sandwich.

"You two are super cute together, who would have thought Aidan was capable of dating," Thomas wiped fake tears.

"Shut up-"

Aidan was cut off when the power went out this time.

"You guys, I swear to god-"

"It's not us, Aidan. Not this time," Ian said. Aidan made his way in the dark to the breaker, but the breaker wasn't flipping the lights on. Suddenly, the lights flash back on.

"What the fuck?" Aidan said confused, looking around.

"Where is Daiichi?" Thomas asked, and everyone looked around.
