Daiichi woke up bound to a chair and gagged. He struggled a bit in the chair, he looked around confused. He felt groggy, and his eyelids felt heavy. His head nodded back a bit, the room was dark and musty a bit. It was really warm, there were no windows, only a door. He couldn' really see with how dark the room is. He struggled a bit, but stopped when he heard the door open.

Daiichi turned his head to the person who came in and saw someone that had half black and half blue hair that flowed over his shoulders. He was slim yet muscular, wearing gray jeans and a gray hoodie. He had a wide smile on his face, turning the light on. Daiichi flinches, being momentarily blinded.

"So, you are Daiichi. You are cute, not my type though."

Daiichi stared at the man, confused, and the man feigned surprise.

"Oh, I didn't introduce myself. Excuse me for my manners. My name is Orlando... I am sure AJ or as you know him Aidan told you about me."

Daiichi's eyes widened in surprise, he still couldn't talk. He struggled more and Orlando made his way over to Daiichi. He placed a hand on Daiichi's shoulder.

"Now, now, don't struggle. I won't hurt you, as long as you tell me the things I want to know. I just need you as a hostage. I am gonna remove the gag now, okay? Don't yell or bite."

Daiichi nodded his head, and Orlando removed Daiichi's tag. When the gag was removed, Daiichi inhaled deeply.

"How long have I been here?" He asked, his mouth was really dry.

"About three days since we kidnapped you."

"Three days?"

"Yeah, we accidentally gave you too much of the drug we used. Works like a charm though. You were out the moment the needle pierced your neck."

"Why did you kidnap me?"

"I think you know why, kid."

Daiichi was confused, before realizing what Orlando wanted.

"Aidan..."

"Bingo," Orlando did a finger gun with a wink.

"Why can't you leave him alone? He is a good guy."

"Oh, I know he is a good guy. And I really hate that he got himself involved in gang activities. He has his entire future ahead of him."

"Why do you keep trying to hurt him?"

"You have it wrong kid, I am not trying to hurt him," Orlando laughed as if it was the funniest thing ever.

"You aren't?"

"No, I do wanna take out Royal Bastions, but not Aidan. I don't know how much Aidan told you about me, but he is my first love. I still love him, and he rejected me. He said he wasn't looking to date. That was roughly five months ago."

"Why are you telling me this? Why do you need me as a hostage?"

"Well, for several reasons. One reason is I want to know what made you different. A nobody, someone who doesn't know the real Aidan. Why did he choose to date you? Not me? I was by his side for two years straight."

Daiichi frowned, he didn't know why Aidan chose him. Looking at Orlando, Orlando was really handsome, but something told Daiichi that maybe it was his personality.

"Have you ever thought it was because you kissed him without his permission? Kidnapped him, hurt his friends?" Daiichi asked, and Orlando scoffed.

"Please, I confessed first and while I admit I kissed him without his permission I felt guilty and wanted to apologize in person. But he refused to see me, his so-called friends have been my enemies since before I met Aidan."

Daiichi glared at Orlando, Orlando stared at Daiichi and for some reason, that stare irritated Orlando more. He backedhand Daiichi, causing Daiichi's face to turn. Daiichi's cheek was red, and had an imprint of the ring that Orlando wore on his finger.

"Don't give me that look, I mean what I say."

"What's your second reason for holding me hostage?"

"Aidan will come for you, I know he will. And that's when I can use you as bait. He has to make a choice, you die or break up with you and Royal Bastions and join me."

"He would never..."

"He wouldn't allow you to die either."

Daiichi struggled again but Orlando leaned close to his face.

"Now, now... answer my question. Why you? Why are you so special?"

"I don't know..."

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"I don't know why he chose me over you. I mean besides the fact, I never really made him uncomfortable or did anything that he hated that hurted him or his friends. And you do know that today is Aidan's birthday right? Why do this on his special day?"

Orlando clicked his tongue glaring at Daiichi, but Orlando kept his anger in check.

"So you really are a nobody. No one special, huh? I did this because it was the perfect opportunity, I will make it up to him."

"No, I am not. I am not a super genius, or good at fighting or anything. Just someone that refused to leave his side."

"I refused to leave his side too for two years..."

"He saved me from a creepy teacher..."

"Yeah I heard about that, unfortunate, that brought you two closer. Which makes me hate the bastard, and hate you too."

Orlando started pacing back and forth chewing on his thumbnail. Suddenly, he had an idea. He glanced at Daiichi.

"Actually, I have a better idea, then holding you hostage..."

"What?" Daiichi was confused, and Orlando left the room. This left Daiichi with so many questions. He had a very bad feeling about what was going to happen to him.

"Please Aidan, find me, and don't get caught up in any of their traps," Daiichi pleaded to himself. He hung his head low, he felt like a burden. This was the second time he was being held hostage.
