The day after her emotional confession, Claire felt a sense of dread as she walked into school. The weight of her secret felt even heavier now, knowing how much it had already hurt Sarah. But she knew she had to come clean about everything that had happened since then.

As she made her way through the crowded hallways, she spotted Madison and Emily waiting for her near their usual spot. They smiled when they saw her, but their expressions quickly turned concerned when they noticed the tension in her face.

"Claire, what's wrong?" Madison asked as she approached. "You look like you didn't sleep at all."

Emily nodded in agreement. "Yeah, is everything okay? Is this about yesterday?"

Claire took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. "I need to talk to you both, and Sarah too. It's about what happened after... after I talked to you guys yesterday."

Madison and Emily exchanged a worried glance, clearly sensing that something was seriously wrong. "Let's go find Sarah," Emily suggested, already starting to walk toward the lockers where Sarah usually hung out.

They found Sarah leaning against her locker, scrolling through her phone. She looked up when she saw them approaching, her expression guarded. "Hey," she greeted them, her tone cautious.

"Hey, Sarah," Claire said softly, her stomach twisting with anxiety. "I need to talk to all of you... about what happened after I told you guys about Liam yesterday."

Sarah's eyes narrowed slightly, a mix of suspicion and hurt flashing across her face. "What do you mean?"

"Let's go somewhere private," Claire suggested, trying to keep her voice steady. She led the group to a secluded corner of the courtyard, away from the bustling noise of the school.

Once they were alone, Claire took another deep breath, bracing herself for the difficult conversation ahead. "After I talked to you guys yesterday, I went to Liam's house again... and things got even more complicated."

Madison's eyes widened in alarm. "What do you mean by 'more complicated'? Claire, what happened?"

Claire hesitated for a moment, then decided to just say it. "Liam asked me to be his... lover. And I agreed."

There was a stunned silence as her friends processed her words. Sarah's face turned pale, her eyes filled with disbelief and hurt. Madison looked like she was about to say something, but no words came out. Emily simply stared at Claire, her expression a mix of concern and shock.

"Claire... why?" Sarah finally whispered, her voice trembling. "After everything that happened... why would you do that?"

Claire felt a tear slip down her cheek as she struggled to find the right words. "I don't know, Sarah. I know it was wrong, and I know I've hurt you. But I didn't want to keep lying to you guys. I had to tell you the truth."

Madison shook her head, clearly trying to wrap her mind around the situation. "Claire, this is... this is huge. Are you sure about this? About Liam?"

Emily, still processing everything, chimed in gently, "Claire, we're not judging you. But this is a lot to handle, especially for Sarah."

Sarah looked away, tears welling up in her eyes. "I just... I don't know what to say. I feel like I don't even know you anymore, Claire."

The guilt hit Claire like a tidal wave. "I'm so sorry, Sarah. I know I've messed up, and I don't expect you to forgive me right away. But I want to make things right. I don't want to lose you guys."

Madison and Emily exchanged a glance, both looking conflicted. "We're your friends, Claire," Madison said softly. "But this is something we're all going to need time to process. Especially Sarah."
