Six months later....

Brick

     I looked up and saw Brick standing there looking at me.  He walked over and hugged me tight.  He said "Damn woman you are giving me a major case of blue balls."  I laughed at that and kissed him.  Maverick then reached for him.  He picked him up and I went to get the diaper bag.  We headed out and as Brick drove I wondered where was he taking me.  Fifteen minutes later he pulls up to a house.  It was a ranchstyle home with a beautiful yard with big oak trees in the yard.  I saw a tire swing in the side yard.  I asked "Whose house is this Brick?  It's beautiful."  Brick smiles and says come with me you will see.  I followed him inside and turned to see a beautiful fire place.  I saw portrait on the mantel turn backwards.  I wonder what the picture looks like or who is in it.  I looked up at Brick and he said go turn that picture around.  I gave him a confused look but went to turn the picture around.  I gasp as I see the family portrait that Brick had made when Maverick was three months old.  I looked back at him.  He smiled and said "Welcome home Penny."  He then held up a set of keys.  I ran toward him and jumped into his arms.  We then toured the home.  It was a four bedroom home with a beautiful kitchen and two bathrooms with a beautiful back porch.  I asked "Brick when can we move in?"
