THE CHOSEN ONE (REUNION)

Reading Minds

King Raynold sent a group of soldiers to check on the surrounding villages not far from them to know if they were truly attacked by the Orges. King Raynold, Zussorender, lord Emmanuel, General Raphael and the ministers also visited the public infirmary to check on the people that were wounded and being treated. The great King also asked the people from the villages the reason why they think the Orges attacked them and they said they don't know but the Orges took people from their villages and some were killed. The soldiers that were sent to the villages to check on the villages returned back and tell the great King that all the villages has been devastated, King Raynold called a meeting with the council and the generals.

In the council hall, King Raynold sited on his throne, the ministers, the princes and princesses sited at the left side of the hall. Zussorender, and the generals sited at the right side of the hall, and the two royal princes, princess Esther and Lord Emmanuel sited in front of King Raynold, their back facing the great King.

King Raynold asked the minister for health ''how are the people being treated?''.

''They getting better your royal majesty'' said minister for health to King Raynold.

''And we have prepare shelter for those who are not hurt and those who are hurt'' said minister for welfare to King Raynold.

''Your royal majesty, we need to do something about the Orges that are said to be attacking villages'' said minister for war to king Raynold.

''The people are also anxious about the Orges that has suddenly left their caves and now attacking villages your royal majesty. Some of them even said maybe their master Marcelos has been awaken and has tell them to start killing people'' said minister for information to King Raynold.

''Seeing the Orges are just attacking villages means they have no one leading them and are just acting on their own. We need to find them and kill them all once and for all your royal majesty'' said Sup.General Raphael to King Raynold. As they were all talking King Raynold was thinking on what to be done.

''About no one leading them may be false. For a thousand years now the Orges never left their caves and now they are back attacking villages, do you think they are doing that on their own accord. Am sure they are doing that for a reason'' said the prime minister.

''We shouldn't care about whatsoever reason they are doing that and hunt them down before they become powerful to be stopped'' said assistant Sup.General.

''We shouldn't act with haste we should assess the situation properly before doing anything'' said the prime minster.

''Waiting will only cause more problem supreme wizard. We should hunt the Orges down and kill them all to stop the fear that is growing among the people'' said 1st General.

''We all need to calm down on this matter'' said lord Emmanuel to everyone.

''We calming down can not solve anything we need to get rid of the Orges'' said assistant Sup. General.

''Do you generals think war is easy. When our opponent in war are humans war can be easy but we are talking about Orges that we all heard in story that they can be barbaric, cruel and have no feeling. we are talking about things we have never fought before and you just want us to go after them without thinking and assessing the current situation properly. We know nothing about this Orges except what we all heard in stories and do you think that may still be true, we all should calm down'' said minister for finance to the Generals and that made all the Generals annoyed.

''And what do you know about war minister. Have you ever wield a sword in your life before, have you ever seen your family taken away from you to be slaughter. You no nothing about war so don't lecture us about war. Whether they are human or not we should go after them'' said 2nd General to minister for finance.

''All what you ministers know how to do is to talk and talk and talk without no action. Do you want us to wait until the Orges get powerful enough to attack us and families to be slaughter'' said 3rd General to the ministers.

On hearing that the ministers were all annoyed and it lead to dispute between the generals and ministers as they were all exchanging bad words between each other while others watched and King Raynold was lost in thought. Seeing the disputed between the ministers and generals may lead to fight, Ramsay stood up and shouted at them ''Enough everyone'', they all stopped talking and look at Ramsay.

Ramsay said to the ministers and Generals ''have you all forgotten your manners. You are before the great King and you are all acting like a kid. You all should calm down and let the great King decide what is best'', Ramsay sat down back.

The minister and Generals all looked at the King Raynold and saw he was thinking about what to say then Noah stood up and said to them ''i understand what you all said is because you cared, and that is why i have decided to tell everyone the truth''.

Noah looked at his father who looked at him as he said the words and his father gave him a go ahead. Noah said to everyone ''months ago, me, the supreme wizard and my brother ended up in a village and that is where we first met and fought the Orges'', everyone in the hall was surprised and shocked on hearing that except the great King and Zussorender, ''but we had to keep the awareness of the Orges a secret so that people won't live in fear just like what is happening now. And you should all know this, the Orges are being lead by a Marc and please don't ask how because we don't know how it is possible that a Marc is alive when Marcelos is still asleep.

This is what i will like to say to you elders, we can't act with haste and at the same time we cant just sit down and do nothing. So please let his royal majesty make a decision and we should you stand as one because that is the only way we can win this war'', then Noah sat down back.

There was silence in the hall has everyone looked at each other, then King Raynold said to everyone ''i kept the awareness of the Orges and the Marc a secret for a reason and now Zussorader has stole the mind crystal with the intention to wake Marcelos up. If Zussorader align with the Marc and Orges, Marcelos will truly be awaken which will means the end of every living thing but before that happened we will get rid of the Orges. I declare war on all the Orges, wherever they are we will find and sweep them off this world''.

''Generals'' called King Raynold.

''Yes your royal majesty'' answered all the Generals in union.

''Gather the soldiers and prepare for war, i will gather the light army myself'' said King Raynold to the Generals.

''Minister for information'' called King Raynold. ''Am sure every other kingdoms already know about all happened. Send message to them that i will be going to war against the Orges but they should stay behind and protect their Kingdom''.

''Yes your royal majesty'' answered minister for information.

''Supreme wizard'' called King Raynold.

''Yes your royal majesty'' answered Zussorender.

''Gather every able wizard in the city, they are joining us'' said King Raynold to Zussorender.

''Yes your royal majesty'' said Zussorender.

''Princes and princesses'' called King Raynold.

''Yes your royal majesty'' answered all the princes and princesses.

''You won't be going to war with us you will all be staying behind'' said King Raynold to the Princes and princesses.

The princes and princesses were surprised and confused on hearing that. Ramsay stood up, face his father and said to him ''father, me and Noah has fought the Orges once and i think we are the only one that has a better experience about the Orges, we should join the soldiers and match with you''.

''I know. Am not leaving you all behind because of all what you might think is the reason. Am leaving you all behind because someone has to be in charge and protect the Kingdom while am gone, so you will all be doing that and i trust you all'' said King Raynold to the princes and princesses. Ramsay couldn't say anything and sat down back.



After the meeting in the hall, General Raphael began to gather all the soldiers and prepare them for battle, Zussorader also called in every wizards in the city to tell them they will be joining the soldiers and will all be going to war. King Raynold summon all the light army soldier himself except those guarding the dark crystal and told them they will be going to war with him.

Message was sent to every other Kingdoms about the great King going to war and that the other Kings should protect their Kingdom and be prepare for any immediate attack.



After the meeting, the princes and princesses went to the palace pavilion. They all sat down on chairs round a big table, lost in thought as silence fill the air except princess Esther that was looking at everyone of them and up to something. Princess Esther broke the silence as she asked Ramsay and Noah ''is it really true that you have fought the Orges once?'', that brought everyone back to reality.

Ramsay looked at princess Esther in a strange way while Noah said to her ''yes we did''.

''What are they like?'' prince Kinsley asked Noah.

''They are creatures of darkness that doesn't give up and they attack brutally, fearlessly and barbaric'' said Ramsay to everyone, still staring at princess Esther.

''Do they have a weakness?'' prince Redrick asked Ramsay.

''They don't and you have to be very fast when fighting them'' said Noah to everyone.

''Am kind of jealous of you both?'' said princess Camelia to Noah and Ramsay.

''You shouldn't be. It not something we are proud of because those creatures are fearless themselves'' said Noah.

''Why are you all scared of the Orges all because of stories that is said about them'' said princess Esther to everyone and everyone was confused why she said that to them.

''What do you mean?'' princesses Kylie asked princess Esther but she didn't answer.

Princess Esther looked at Noah and asked to him ''why cant read you?''.

''What are you talking about you?'' Noah (confused) asked princess Esther.

''I heard all of you saying if you will be able to survive in a war that is full of Orges except Ramsay that is wondering about who i really am and Noah that everything about him his blank'' said princess Esther to them and they all looked at each other confused and puzzled how she could know about their thoughts except Noah.

''Am sure we all didn't said that out loud, that was what all we thought in our mind'' said prince Mike to princess Esther.

Princess Esther looked at prince Mike and prince Mike heard a voice said inside his head ''i know that because i read everyone mind''.

Prince Mike was shocked and confused on hearing the voice in his head and looked at Esther to see her staring at him. ''Did you just talk to me inside my head?'' Prince Mike asked princess Esther trying to figure out if it was her that talked in his head but princess Esther gave no response and began to look at everyone of them again.

Ramsay asked prince Mike ''did you hear a voice talked in your head?'' on hearing prince Mike asked princess Esther that.

''Yes i did'' said prince Mike to Ramsay and Ramsay looked at princess Esther.

Princess Esther stopped looking at everyone and looked at Noah, princess Esther asked Noah ''who are you?''.

''What do you mean by that?'' Noah asked princess Esther.

''I can read others mind but can't read yours'' said princess Esther to Noah and everyone was puzzled and confused on hearing that and they all looked at each other in disbelief.

Princess Esther began to read their minds again, prince Kinsley said in his mind ''that can't be possible. No human can read another human mind''. Princess Kylie said in her mind ''if it's really true that she can read minds then our secret are no longer safe but i don't think she cant, she is lying''. Prince Redrick said in his mind ''what kind of joke is she trying to pull now. Hope she won't tell the great King about our outing. Well she is kind of beautiful and i like her''. Prince Mike said in his mind ''so father was really telling the truth about the people that can read minds that once exist but i don't think she can. If she knows what am thinking right now then that means she can read really read minds''. Princess Camelia said in her mind ''she trying to make herself a god which she isn't. She is a fool if she will think i will believe her''. Ramsay said in his mind ''i knew there was something off about her ever since i met her at the contest and she gave reply to my thought at the palace hall. If she can really read minds then there is trouble''.

Princess Esther said to them all as she looked at all of them ''most of you just thought me saying i can read minds is a lie except Noah that i don't know what he is thinking'' and they all looked at her in a weird way, then she began to say to them one after the other.

Princess Esther looked at prince Mike and said to him ''Mike, your father was telling the truth about my kind that exist once''. Princess Esther looked at Prince Redrick and said to him ''Redrick, i won't tell his royal majesty about anything and you should know this, you are not my type''. Princess Esther looked at princess Kylie and said to her ''Kylie, it not like i find it amusing that i can read someone's mind and sometime i wouldn't even want to, and i will just heard what the person is thinking about. And don't worry about your secrets they are safe with me''. Princess Esther looked at prince Kinsley and said to him ''Kinsley, i know it hard to believe i have such power but it's true''. Princess Esther looked at Princess Camelia and said to her ''Camelia, am not a god neither am i trying to become one. Am a human that doesn't really like her powers''. Princess Esther looked at Ramsay and said to him ''Ramsay, there is no trouble in my being able to read minds neither am i here to cause one'' and said inside Ramsay head ''i knew you were going to cheat at the contest even before you cheated but i let you cheated because i know who you are''. Ramsay looked at princess Esther in disbelief and dumbfounded.
