THE CHOSEN ONE (REUNION)

Knowing About The Sa'er

The princes and the princesses waited in front of the hall for the meeting to be done so they can ask Hawk about the Sa'ers since princess Tracy has promised them that Hawk will tell them about the sa'ers.

The ministers and Generals were the first to come out of the hall and they all left the palace, followed by the great King, Zussorender, and Hawk.

As the great King, Zussorender, and Hawk came out of the council hall, the princes and princesses bow their heads to show their respect to the great King and the great King said to them "you are all coming with me to the infirmary to check on Esther". Together they all went to the palace infirmary.

As King Raynold and the others entered the infirmary all the physicians bowed to him to show their respect. King Raynold and the others looked around, and they saw lord Emmanuel sited next to princess Esther who was still unconscious and lying on the bed, lord Emmanuel holding one of her hands and staring at her.

King Raynold and the others walked to lord Emmanuel. On getting to lord Emmanuel, King Raynold asked him "how is she?".

"The royal physician said she is fine and nothing is wrong with her but doesn't know why she is unconscious" replied lord Emmanuel still staring at his daughter.

"Nothing is wrong with her brother and she will return back to us. I need you to come with us so I can tell you about her and where she went to" said King Raynold to Lord Emmanuel.

Lord Emmanuel looked at King Raynold and said to him "What do you mean by where she goes to when she is right here in front of me?".

"Hawk told us all about her and I think it will be better to know since she is your daughter. Come with us brother, nothing is wrong with her and she is safe" said King Raynold to Lord Emmanuel.

"Okay. But I want to move her to her room" said Lord Emmanuel to King Raynold and look back at his daughter.

"Don't worry about that, the maid will move her. Come with us, I understand how you feel but when you hear what Hawk told us you will have nothing to worry about" said King Raynold to lord Emmanuel.

Lord Emmanuel look at the great King and then Zussorender who nodded his head at him. Lord Emmanuel let go of his daughter's hand, kiss her forehead, and stood up. Lord Emmanuel, Zussorender, and King Raynold left the infirmary together, and the princes and the princesses watched as they left.


Just as the great King, his brother, and Zussorender left the infirmary, princess Tracy said to Hawk "hello Hawk".

Hawk looked at princess Tracy and said to her " hi Tracy", then Hawk noticed the princes and the princesses were strangely looking at him. Hawk asked the princes and princesses "why are you all looking at me like that?".

They all didn't give any response to Hawk still strangely looking at him but Hawk understood the reason why they were looking at him like that. Hawk said "oh no" and began to walk away but the princes and princesses followed him.

As they followed Hawk, princess Esther said to Hawk "we need to know about her".

"No, am not telling you guys" said Hawk to them.

"Please Hawk. She is our friend and we should know about her" said princess Camilia to Hawk.

"I don't care about that, am not telling you guys" said Hawk to them.

"I command you as the royal heir to tell me who she is" said Ramsay to Hawk, seeing Hawk was not willing to tell them.

Hawk stopped walking annoyed upon hearing that, and so did the princes and the princesses. Hawk looked back at Ramsay and said to him "you are nothing but a boy, don't you ever say that to me again".

"And why can't I say that, I am the heir to the throne, and don't call me a boy" said Ramsay to Hawk.

"And what makes you think the throne is gonna be passed to you? Am older than your great grandfather so learn how to respect me, and fuck your order, I answer to no one" said Hawk to Ramsay, then left the infirmary in anger.


Immediately after Hawk left, princess Tracy (annoyed) said to Ramsay "you just anger the only person that can tell us about Esther. Is this how you always behave?".

"You will not speak to me in that way and you respect her also" said Ramsay (annoyed) to princess Tracy.

"His royal highness is not like that and he has never used his post to command anyone ever since we have known him. He only did that because Hawk was refusing to tell us about the royal princess" said Prince Mike to princess Tracy.

"Am sorry about that your royal highness" princess Tracy apologize to Hawk.

"Don't worry you will get used to us as time goes" said prince Kinsley to princess Tracy.

"We need to find a way to beg Hawk to tell us about Esther" said Noah.

"We should go find Hawk then" said prince Redrick.


The princes and princesses searched the whole palace for Hawk till night but couldn't find Hawk and they all wondered where he might have been.

The princesses and the princes were having fun in the royal pavilion. Wines and chickens were placed on the table in front of them as they sit around the big table, and princess Tracy was sharing the experience of her journey with Hawk but didn't tell them about what Hawk is.

As they were silent listening to Princess Tracy, Hawk walked into the pavilion carrying a jug full of wine in one of his hands and holding a cup with his other hand. Hawk said to them "hello everyone", making them notice his presence and they all looked at him as princess Tracy stopped talking.

"Can I join?" Hawk asked them, and they agreed.

Hawk sat down and placed the jug full of wine and cup on the table. Hawk pour the wine into the cup as everyone looked at him, drank the wine then said to himself "nothing tastes so good like a fine wine from the palace".

Ramsay said to Hawk "am sorry about earlier I didn't mean to do that".

Hawk sighed and said "I already forget about that and you all should make sure you think before you act. Don't do things you will regret later".

"Where have you been all day?" princess Esther asked Hawk.

"In the palace looking at every one of you" said Hawk.

"That can't be possible we searched the whole palace except the library but couldn't find you" said Princess Camilia to Hawk.

"It is not impossible. You were all looking for a human but I was watching you as a bird" said Hawk.

The princes and princesses were confused upon hearing that except Ramsay and Noah that has a clue of what Hawk is talking about and princess Tracy that knows what he meant by that.

"What do you mean by that?" prince Mike asked Hawk.

"Did you just mean you are a shake-shifter?" Noah asked Hawk.

Princess Tracy and Hawk were surprised that Noah knows about shape-shifters. Hawk said "finally there is royal blood that cares about supernatural beings and visits their library".

"What is a shape-shifter?" Prince Redrick asked as he looked at Hawk and Noah.

"They are human with the ability to change into any animal of their choice and they never grow old or die except killed" said Ramsay.

The princes and princesses find that hard to believe upon hearing that. Prince Kinsley said "can you please stop this joke. Such a thing can never be possible".

"I guess the royal princes enjoy history and He doesn't seem to believe you" said Hawk to Ramsay.

"It is the truth, have seen it myself" said Princess Tracy to the other princes and princesses.

"I guess we will have to see it to believe it then" said prince Mike.

"Yeah. You are a shape-shifter right, why don't you change to a bird right now so we will believe what his royal highnesses and the princess said you are" said princess Kylie to Hawk.

"Okay," said Hawk and stood up.

Hawk moved back a little bit from them and changed into a bird right in front of them. The princes and the princesses were all shocked and surprised to see Hawk change into a bird except the royal princes and princess Tracy.

"What the hell?" said prince Redrick shocked as he opened his mouth.

"This has to be some magical trick" said princess Camilia shocked.

"It is not" said Ramsay, then Hawk changed back to his human form.

Hawk sat down back and said to the princes and the princesses "you all lack knowledge of things because you all spent most of your time either training or having fun. You all never visit your palace library, and some things you know are either from your father or someone close to you. And am sure the royal princes know about me through Zussorender because if they read about my kind in books they will know our wounds can heal ourselves when injured".

"How is it possible that you to change to animals?" prince Mike asked Hawk.

"I don't know that. Am not the first shape-shifter, am sure he would know the answer to that. I was born like this so are my kind but know this, we are supernatural beings and you would all have loved my kind if they were all still alive" said Hawk.

"What happened to them?" asked princess Kylie.

"Can't tell you that and you should forget about my kind, am the only one left now" said Hawk.

Hearing that, Ramsay and Noah realized that Hawk doesn't know about the other shape-shifters. "Where have you been all this while?" Noah asked Hawk.

"In Axrax palace dungeon" said Hawk.

"Why were you there?" prince Kinsley asked Hawk.

"Can't tell you about that too, so no more question concerning me and my kind" said Hawk.

"We still want to know about princess Esther, can you tell us about her?" said princess Tracy to Hawk.

"I promise the great King not to tell you about her and I know you will never give up on wanting to know her. But so she won't be a stranger to you all when she wakes up it better you know about her. So get ready for a story.........

According to history that is now lost, the first Sa'er was the last daughter of King Hope. During her birth an incident happened, the moon and the sun could be seen in the sky at the same time. Meaning the day and the night both appeared and could be seen at the same time.

The people thought the incident was a sign of an omen even King Hope was afraid because no one could interpret what the incident mean not even the Wizards, and that made King Hope name her daughter Omen.

As Omen grew up everyone was afraid to be with her or stay with her because of the incident that happened during her birth except her mother that loved her very much. Omen spent most of her time alone training to become a warrior which her mother said she could not but Omen never listened.

As omen grew up, she always tells her mother about her dreams, and what baffled and scared her mother is that whatever dreams Omen told her, it always comes true. She also always tells her mum that she could hear people's thoughts and tell her mum what people think about her, making her mother know her enemies and friends. Omen's mother had to keep her daughter's powers a secret so people won't see her as something else.

At that time, King Hope hardly set his eyes on Omen because there was a conflict between the kingdoms and there was also conflict among the peoples and creatures that once lived in Axrax, and King Hope hardly sleep because he was always thinking of a way to solve the conflict.

And some of the people were beginning to think what was happening is because of the incident that happened during Omen's birth and that Omen has brought a bad omen to them resulting in the conflicts.

The conflicts continued till Omen became a lady and has now fully understand the powers she possesses. Omen began to interfere in the court matter even though she wasn't allowed to, always reading the council members' thoughts to know if their thought are the same as what they are discussing with her father but Omen found out some of the ministers' wishes for her father, death. Omen told King Hope about the ministers but he refused to believe her saying that was not right and told her never to set foot into the council hall again or anywhere near it.

Omen never listens to his father and does go to the council hall but never enters. She will stand by the window side always listening to the ministers' thoughts. Omen continues doing that until she found out about a plot. Omen finds out some of the ministers had plotted to kill her father on the day her father will hold a feast, and she told her father about it but her father refuses to listen to her and have her confined in her room.

King Hope didn't know the kind of powers his daughter possesses and that she can never be confined.

On the day of the feast, the guards guarding Omen in her room let her leave her room with no struggle and Omen went to the palace compound where the feast was being held. Omen stood alone away from the sight of everyone as she looked at the assassins that were dressed as the palace guards ready to kill her father.

Omen did nothing looking as the assassins fight through the real palace guards to King Hope to kill him but something strange happened as the assassins got to King Hope. The assassins all raised their swords to kill King Hope but were finding it hard to raise them down so they could kill King Hope just then Omen walked into the feast.

Omen ordered the assassins to kneel as she get to her father and they all did which got everyone surprised and shocked............".
