The FUTURE

MONTHS LATER

Princess Esther opened her eyes and met herself standing in the middle of the battle. She saw herself, the princes, the princesses, Zussorender, the shape-shifter, and some other tribes and creatures fighting against the dark armies like their lives depend on it. Princess Esther also saw a Demon bigger than the size of a human and that looked like the one that she killed with the help of the Sa'ers but there was something different about the Demon. Princess Esther saw the Demon was very powerful, fierce, and strong, and it seem to be the one leading the dark armies.

As princess Esther stood looking around, she saw Noah fighting through the dark armies to get to the Demon. Noah fought against the Demon with his magical power and Dragon gene power as he got to the Demon but he was still no match for the Demon. The Demon beat Noah till Noah was weak and fell to his knees. The Demon was about to thrust its hand into Noah's chest when Ramsay and her saw what was happening and ran to save Noah. Ramsay knew even if he was very fast he will never be able to get to his brother before the Demon killed him then Ramsay disappeared and appeared in front of Noah. The hand of the Demon went through Ramsay's chest and came out at the back instead of Noah's, Ramsay coughed out blood. The Demon lift Ramsay up as its hand was still inside Ramsay, which the princes, the princesses, and Zussorender saw as they were all fighting the dark armies and they were shocked and scared, the Demon smiled.

Princess Esther saw the Demon throw Ramsay away and that made herself angry and she attacked the Demon, while Noah who was scared went to check on his brother.

Princess Esther saw Noah crying because Ramsay died and even though Zussorender joined herself to fight against the Demon they were both not able to defeat the Demon. Zussorender was killed and the Demon get his hand on the light crystal and destroyed the stone inside of it.

Princess Esther saw how many of those who joined hands with them, both the creatures and other tribes, were being killed by the Demon and his dark armies as herself, Noah, the princes, and the princesses watched helplessly and having lost hope in human survival.


Princess Esther (sited) opened her eyes back in the hall in anger. The 12 Sa'ers that were sited around her in the hall saw that she was very angry, then Anna asked her "what happened Esther?".

"How can you still ask me what happened when the future remains the same even though I looked at it several times? I keep on seeing the death of the ones I love and no matter any battle with fought against Marcelos we always lost. All I see in the future is the death of Mankind and you all keep telling me there is nothing I can do to change that. It frustrated, I can see the death of everyone and do nothing to change it or help them'' said princess Esther (in anger) to the Sa'ers.

"There is nothing you can do to change the future, Esther. Even if you tried to change the future what will happen will definitely happen no matter what you do. If you think you can save someone from dying in a way you know, they will still die in a way you don't know. The future can't be changed, it is like saving someone from death which is impossible" said 4th lady to princess Esther.

"If the future can't be changed why did you let me go to the future to witness those deaths? princess Esther asked the Sa'ers.

"We let you go to the future because we want you to find the hope for mankind. Mankind can't just be doomed to fail and be erased from existence while Marcelos ruled with the demons he thought he will be creating as humans. We want you to find that hope for humanity and we are sure it exist in the future. That hope is the only chance mankind and creatures have if they are gonna survive" said 1st girl to princess Esther.

"Instead of finding the hope in the future why don't we go back to the past and kill Marcelos so we can end this damnation on mankind" said princess Esther to the Sa'ers.

"Do you think the Sa'ers didn't try that? After knowing about Marcelos destiny, some Sa'ers went to the day Marcelos was born and killed him as a child thinking that will prevent the future from coming to pass but it didn't. They killed a Marcelos and another Marcelos was born which is the present one. Even if we killed the present Marcelos, nature will give birth to another Marcelos. We can't change the future, Esther" said 2nd young woman.

"Even Omen knows about the coming of a dark wizard and knowing she can't change that future she made her father create the light crystal. Power strong enough to be able to take on the dark wizard" said 2nd young woman to Esther.

"But I saw Marcelos destroy the stone myself. The only thing that we all thought could defeat Marcelos was destroyed by Marcelos. What hope is there to find, when the only thing powerful enough to stop Marcelos was destroyed by him? I think we should find a way to change the future instead" said princess Esther to the Sa'ers.

"If the future can be changed we would had change it but it can't, Esther. Even we can't see our future being a Sa'er not to talk of changing it. We don't know what the world holds for us but we know what the world has in store for everyone and it is our destiny to help the world. Finding that hope is the only way we can help mankind'' said 2nd girl to princess Esther.

"I know things you saw in the future might be hurting you and to see the people you love die before you is kind of heartbreaking. None of us can change the future even Marcelos can't change his destiny but we have to keep on searching for that hope. The hope is somewhere in the future and you have all we have got to find it. You have to find that hope Esther to know if mankind will survive or end there" said Anna to princess Esther.

Princess Esther looked at the Sa'ers' faces and saw they mean what they say and she have to find the hope.


Benjamin did as Hawk asked and began to train soldiers both on how to use weapons, and fight very fast and brutally in their animal form. Benjamin also joined all the soldiers together and trained them together.

As requested by the great King, the kingdoms began to train soldiers in the way to fight Orges and raise more soldiers for the future that is yet to come.

Philip and Zussorader continued to live the rest of their lives in the dungeon since they both disagree to submit and pledge their fealty to the great King. Zussorender also went to the dungeon to see Zussorader and pleads with him to pledge his fealty to the great King but he refuses saying he has only one master which is Marcelos.

Everyone always goes to princess Esther's room to check on princess Esther and tell her about their day and some other things which she does hear even though she was with the Sa'ers and always see them, and lord Emmanuel was waiting for the safe return of her daughter.

Prince Redrick always sneaks into princes Esther's room sometime in the night to tell her how much he loved her and things he wants to do with her and that he waiting for her safe return. Princess Esther does hear what prince Redrick always says and knows he truly loves her.

Since Lord Emmanuel and Hawk was the one training the princes and princesses every day, they got to spend time with each other and the princes and princesses found out Hawk and princess Tracy has a thing for each other but pretend not to, even lord Emmanuel was suspecting.

The princes and princesses were fast learners and they became good and better with what Lord Emmanuel and Hawk trained them. Only Ramsay and Noah were able to best the light army soldiers in training due to them, being skillful in swordsmanship before, and with what Lord Emmanuel, the light army soldiers, and Hawk taught them in training.

The other princes and princesses couldn't beat the light army but they kept on trying hopefully one day they will. Princess Tracy became the only beat archer known to everyone in the palace because her skill in archery under the supervision of Hawk and Lord Emmanuel was extraordinary.


The great King decides to see how the skills of the princes and princesses have improved, and their capabilities then the king hosts a contest that is to be held at the palace training ground. Archers and people good in swordsmanship all over the kingdoms are to be allowed to participate in the contest if they see themselves as skillful enough to best the princes and princesses. Also, whosoever wins the contest will be given a present.


On the day of the contest, everything had all been prepared. The tent where the great king, lord Emmanuel, Zussorender and his family, some generals, and the ministers were to sit down to watch the contest has all been prepared and a round platform stage built with concrete at the middle of the training ground had been prepared for the contestants. The maids had also made fruits and drinks available on the table of the great King and all the council members. The guards to secure the contest ground had all been present.

The 20 contestants, 5 archers, and 15 skills in handmade weapons, and the princes and the princesses all stood in front of the great King, Lord Emmanuel, Zussorender, Lythia, and Gabriel, and the council members as they sited. King Raynold looked at the contestants and couldn't see Ramsay, then he called the head guard and asked him about Ramsay.

The head guard told the great King that he hasn't seen the royal prince today then the great King told him to find the royal prince and the head guards left.


Ramsay was still asleep in his room shirtless when the banging on his door woke him up. Ramsay woke up in anger and went to the door to check on who dares bang on his door like that. Ramsay opened the door and was about to scold who was banging on his door but he saw the head guard and didn't talk.

Ramsay asked the head guard "what are you doing here?" as the head guard bowed to him to show his respect

"Everyone is waiting for you" said the head guard to Ramsay.

"What are you talking about? why would everyone be...." said Ramsay but was cut short of words as he remember that today was the contest day.

"Oh fuck" said Ramsay and shut the door.

Ramsay had a change of clothes that fit him well and opened the door then said to the head guard "let go".


Ramsay and the head guard were running to the palace training ground when Ramsay's body mistakenly came in contact with that of a maid that was carrying a jug full of wine, very hard and the head guard and Ramsay had to stop. The maid and the jug she was holding fell and the jug broke, and the wine spilled on the ground. The maid knee sad that she will be punished for breaking the jug without even looking at who hit her.

Ramsay helps the maid up telling her not to worry about the jug and that no one will do anything to him. Ramsay was surprised on seeing the maid's face after helping her up.
