The Strange Man Experience

Princess Esther took Noah to the past and showed him the kind of people the Archies are. Noah saw the Archies were good people and sworn to be loyal to the throne and the great King. Noah also saw the Archies' females are very skilled in archery and love using knives as an extra weapon to fight in battle, and the Archies' males are very skilled in swordsmanship.

Princess Esther also showed Noah how King Damon cursed the Archies making them live inside water and never return to land. Princess Esther also showed the book where King Damon learned the spell that he used to curse the Archies and that the spell was able to work using the power of the dragon gene.

With all that princess Esther showed Noah, Noah was confident enough that he can be able to break the Archies' curse and get the map from queen Lindsey.

While Noah and Princess Esther were in the past, Ramay was still standing close to the cell door looking outside and lost in thought when he saw two dream catchers (in human form) walk into the dungeon holding a man in his 30s who was looking very weak but Ramsay couldn't see the man face because it was dark. Ramsay watched as the dream catchers opened another cell door opposite him and pushed the man into the cell then close the cell door back. The man fall on the floor and lie down without bothering to sit up or stand up, and the dream catchers left.

Ramsay looks back to see if princess Esther and Noah see the man but saw princess Esther and Noah's eyes were closed and thought they were asleep. Ramsay said to himself "how could they be sleeping when we are in a bad situation", as he walked to them. Immediately Ramsay got to Noah and princess Esther, he bent down and began to tap them calling their names to wake them up.

Princess Esther and Noah were still looking at the Archies' past when princess Esther and Noah heard Ramsay calling their names. Princess Esther said to Noah "we have to return now Ramsay is trying to wake us up".

"And why would he be doing that?" Noah asked princess Esther.

"I guess he must have his reason. Let go back" said princess Esther to Noah.


Princess Esther and Noah opened their eyes back in the dream catchers' cell and saw Ramsay trying to wake them up. Ramsay stopped taping princess Esther and Noah as he saw them open their eyes, and said to them silently "how could you both be sleeping in this situation?".

Noah asked Ramsay "What is it?".

Ramsay stood up and said to them "the dream catchers just brought in another person and he has been locked in the other cell opposite us".

Princess Esther asked Ramsay "where is the person?".

"Come" said Ramay, and lead the way, princess Esther and Noah also stood up and followed.

As the three of them got close to their cell gate, Ramsay pointed to the man inside the other cell, and Princess Esther and Noah saw the man lying on the ground like someone lifeless. Noah asked Ramsay "is he dead?".

"No, I think he is resting. He looked very weak when they brought him here. I think they must have done something to him" said Ramsay.

"Do you manage to see who he is?" princess Esther asked Ramsay.

"How can you possibly see anyone's face in this dark place when you are not close" said Ramsay to princess Esther.

"I guess we have to wait then till he wakes up" said princess Esther.


2 HOURS LATER

Princess Esther, Noah, and Ramsay all sat down on the ground next to each other and their backs were placed on the wall as the three of them were lost in thought. Noah said out loud "I wonder how long we have been in here".

"It can't be that long" said princess Esther to Noah.

"And how do you know that? We have no idea how long we have been asleep before we wake up and day and night doesn't seem to happen here" said Ramsay to princess Esther.

"Father will be worried about us" said Noah.

"I know but at least we are alive, not dead" said Princess Esther.

"Is there really no way out of here?" Ramsay asked princess Esther.

"Yes. We are stuck here until who knows when" said princess Esther.

"As powerful as you said you are you can't get us out of here, you are nothing" said Ramsay annoyingly to princess Esther.

"Do I have to open up your ears and speak into them before you understand that magical powers don't work in the dream world?" said princess Esther to Ramsay.

"Then I guess you Sa'ers are not different from the wizards, and there is nothing special about you guys" said Ramsay to princess Esther.

Princess Esther was angry as she heard Ramsay speak of the Sa'ers in such a way and wanted to talk but stopped upon hearing a voice that said "is it true that she is Sa'er?".

Ramsay, princess Esther, and Noah know it was the man that was in the other cell opposite them that spoke because that is where the voice came from. The three of them crawled close to their cell door, sat down, and saw the man sited very close to his cell door but couldn't see his face since it was dark.

The man asked the three of them again "do you say she is a Sa'er?".

Ramsay asked the man "who are you?".

"Answer me first. Do you say she is a Sa'er?" the man angrily asked the three of them.

"You have to tell us who you are first if you want us to tell you anything" said Noah to the man.

The man angrily hit his cell door with his hand upon hearing Noah said that and said nothing. Princess said to the man "We promise to help get you out of here if you tell us who you are and how come you were captured by the dream catchers".

The man calmed himself and said to the three of them "I am no one and I wasn't captured by the dream catchers".

"If you are not then how come you are in their prison" princess Esther asked the man.

"I was given to the dream catchers but I don't know how long it has been. I have lost count since I seem to be the only one here and I never thought I will ever hear the voice of another human" said the man to the three of them.

Ramsay, princess Esther, and Noah were confused upon hearing that. Ramsay asked the man "how come you were given to the dream catchers and who gave you to them?".

"It is a long story I don't wish to share. What about you people how come you are here?" the man asked the three of them.

The three of them gave no response to the man and Ramsay said silently to princess Esther and Noah "I don't think we should trust the man, let leave him be", to prevent the man from hearing what he said.

"No, I disagree. The man may know of a way out of here" said Noah silently to Ramsay and princess Esther.

"How can someone that has no idea how long he has been here known of a way out of here" said Ramsay silently to princess Esther and Noah.

"What if he did and he is just waiting for someone that he can carry out his plans with him, and here we are? We and the man are both in the same shoe I think we should both trust each other if we are getting out of here" said Princess Esther silently to Ramsay.

"I can't trust a man that refuses to reveal his identity and tell us about himself. What if he is a dream catcher in form of a man to trick us into believing we can escape but to torture us or kill us? You both should think before you decide to hand over our lives to the man" said Ramsay silently to Noah and princess Esther.

"How can he be a wraith when you told us he was brought here weak? I think you just don't want to trust the man and we should" said Noah to Ramsay.

"You know you should believe what he said. He is right about the dream catchers being tricky but they don't trick one with a stranger but with loved ones. That is why am talking to you" said the man to the three of them as he cut in before Ramsy could speak to both Noah and princess Esther.

Ramsay, Noah, and princess Esther were surprised that the man heard all that they said. Princess Esther asked the man "how did you know what we were talking about".

"I don't think the three of you were quiet enough. This dungeon is a very big place with a lot of cells if you were able to see and only four of us are here. So I don't think you can ever be silent" said the man to the three of them.

"What do you mean by the dream catchers being tricky?" Noah asked the man.

"When you start to believe and give yourself hope that you will get out of here, that someone will come to save you from them then the dream catchers will begin to haunt you by messing with your brain and breaking your hope. You will suddenly be woken up in the cell by either your loved ones or someone you think might help you, and you will find the cell door opened. They will tell you that they are here to save you and that you should go with them. You will forget to ask them the needful questions because you will be very happy to get out of here and you will follow them thinking they are taking you home but they will take you to a place darker than here then laugh at you, mock you and tells you are never leaving here before they will suddenly disappear and you will realize they are not real and you were just hallucinating.

In the darkness, you will unable to leave with no food or water and the voices of those you have ever hurt will haunt you till you fall asleep and then woke up again in your home. When you woke up in your home you wouldn't want to believe it is real because of what happened the last time but the way your loved ones and people will act around you will make you think you are finally free and your loved ones will tell you how they got you out of the dream world.

When you eventually accept that you are free from the dream catchers and started to live happily back, then suddenly everything returns to darkness, and all the faces of your loved ones and others will mock you, laughed at you, and called you a fool, then you will realize you are never leaving the dream world.

The dream catchers will haunt you with the faces of your loved ones and torment you till you no longer think or hope you can get out of here then you will be returned back to your cell until you hope you will ever be able to get out of here and be tortured again" said the man to the three of them.

Ramsay, Noah, and princess Esther were surprised by all that they heard from the man and felt pity for the man. Ramsay asked the man "how many times have you gone through that?".

"I lost count. Am a human and as long as I remain alive I will always hope to get out of here safe" said the man to the three of them.

"You must have suffered a lot. How come you fall for the trick many times?" Noah asked the man.

"Because the dream catchers are very convincing each time" said the man.

"With all that you have said, is there a way to get out of here or we will meet the same fate as yours?" princess Esther asked the man.

"There is a way to get out of here that is why I asked if you are a Sa'er" said the man to princess Esther.

"Why does I being a Saer got to do with our way out of here?" princess Esther asked the man.

"Because if you are truly a Sa'er then there is a chance that we might be able to get out of here before the dream catchers come for you all" said the man to princess Esther.

"If you want us to believe you, you have to tell us who you are and how you get here" said Ramsay to the man.

"You must find it hard to trust a strange man but I will tell you what you want to know. I am Hamid and I came to become a prisoner here because my friend betrayed me. My friend took something very precious to me from me and killed my whole family then sent me here to die but doesn't know the dream catcher doesn't kill. And have been here ever since then" said the man to the three of them.

"What was the precious thing your friend took from you?" Ramsay asked the man.

Noah was annoyed upon hearing Ramsay asked the man another question and said to Ramsay "enough of your questions brother. We should be asking how to get out of here not questioning one another".

"Am just trying to be careful so we won't be tricked" said Ramsay to Noah.

Princess Esther said to the man "I am a Sa'er, so tell me how I can get us out of here".

"This magical dream world is a place that makes ones vulnerable and powerless but that is not the case for a Sa'er. A Sa'er will also lose her powers in the magical dream world but not all her powers so I need to know which part of your power is still intact" said the man to princess Esther.

"You are wrong. She lost all her powers immediately she got here" said Ramsay to the man.

"You are the wrong one, I didn't lose all my powers. I can still sense the presence of anyone or anything and I can go back to the future and past" said princess Esther to Ramsay.

"I think you are just giving information about yourself to the man. He doesn't know a way out of here he is lying" said Ramsay to princess Esther.

"I know more about the Sa'er than you do. That is how I knew she won't lose all her powers here" said the man to Ramsay.

"Then how did you know about the Sa'ers?" Ramsay asked the man.

"You will no longer answer him and you will talk to me and Noah only" said princess Esther to the man and the man agreed. Ramsay couldn't believe his ears on hearing princess Esther told the man such a thing.

Ramsay said annoyingly to princess Esther "how could you say such a thing, am trying to protect us here".

"It is enough brother, no one needs protecting here we are not kids. You need to stop this your overprotective act" said Noah to Ramsay.

Princess Esther said to the man "can you please continue talking".

"Even though you lose your powers in the dream world that doesn't means you no longer have them you just are unable to use them. As a Sa'er you can use your power of being able to see things to go out here to find someone that can get us out of here" said the man to princess Esther.

"You want me to get in touch with someone outside of here" said princess Esther to the man.

"Yes" said the man.

"Is that even possible?" Noah said to the man.

"Am not 100% sure but I think she should be able to do that" said the man.

Ramsay smirked and said to princess Esther and Noah "so you both are going to believe this man. He is lying to you can't you see that".

Princess Esther said to Ramsay "I guess we will have to find out", and crawled back to the wall inside the cell as they all looked at her.

Princess Esther sat down with her crossed together and her back rested on the wall. Ramsay asked princess Esther "what are you doing?", seeing she is trying to do what the man said.

"Am gonna go find my father" said princess Esther.
