Chapter 20 - Family pool party

It was summertime in Ouroboros. The weather in the sea of sand is so blistering hot, even the hypnobrai couldn't stand it. Unfortunately I'm not used to this kind of weather myself.
One hot summer day, I was in the kitchen. I poured some chocolate and caramel syrups in a tall glass prepping to make myself some iced coffee. I've put some ice, creamer and homemade cold brew coffee. I'd made it in the glass then topped it with cool whip and syrup then stuck a straw in it. I took one good swig of it and it tasted refreshing and delicious.
Aunt y/n walked in the kitchen to find me sipping my iced coffee. "Hey Duhvassa! What are you drinking there?" She asked. I replied, "Iced coffee! I made it myself aunt y/n. Would you like to try a swig?"
She tried a good swig of it then her eyes lit up and loves the taste of it. So I made her a glass of iced coffee in the same way I did mine then I gave it to her. Aunt y/n thanked me and we start to enjoy our iced coffee.
"So... What's been going on lately?" I asked. She turns to me and replied, "Well... We have a family pool party coming up next week and your uncle and I are inviting you to join for a swim in our underground pool Duhvassa!" I smiled as she tells me that I'm invited. I told her that I have recently bought a 1 piece swimsuit and alternate it so it can fit around my tail when I put it on.
Aunt y/n knows about it and she's well aware of my sewing skills. She then walked me down the halls to the lower half of the palace to show me where the underground pool is located. We made our way down the passages as the air grew nipper feeling cooler and refreshing away from the burning heat.

We reached to the pair of 2 stoned doors that are opened. We found uncle Pythor supervising the servants as they're cleaning the pool. He making sure that they get it properly done right.

"This is where our family pool party is going to be held sweetheart!" Declared Aunt y/n. I couldn't help myself to look around. Uncle Pythor turns around to see us and smiled as he slithered towards us.
"Hey honey! Hey Duhvassa! What are you two girls up to?" Asked uncle Pythor. Aunt y/n replied, "We came down here to show our niece where our niece where our pool party is going to be held next week love." Uncle Pythor nodded then noticed that we're sipping on iced coffee. "Is that iced coffee you two are drinking?" He asked, aunt y/n replied, "Yes! Our niece has made these. They're indeed delicious and refreshing Pythor!"
Uncle Pythor turns to me and asked, "Is there enough cold brew coffee for me to make myself one Duhvassa?" I nodded and told him, "Yes there is is uncle Pythor!" I've given him the recipe I'd used to make mine and aunt y/n's Iced coffee. Thankfully uncle Pythor wrote it down on a notepad he's has on him.
He finished and said, "What an interesting recipe sweetheart, I'm gonna go to the kitchen and make myself one. I'm going to have myself a Iced coffee break!" Said uncle Pythor. He slithered up the stairs making haste to get to the kitchen. Aunt y/n and I had a giggle then she turns to me. "Have you thought about bringing something to the family pool party Duhvassa?" She asked.
I thought for a moment and had an idea on what to make for the party. "I'm thinking about making 2 dump cakes and some cokes for the party." I told her. "That's a good idea Duhvassa." Said aunt y/n.
The next morning I got on my regular casual black clothes and drove to New Ninjago City to get the stuff I need for the 2 dump cakes and cokes from the store. Thankfully Uncle Pythor came with me to help out. Even aunt y/n and both my cousins came with us.
We went to different stores and got what we needed then we drove to my favorite discounted grocery store and got our cokes then went home.
