Chapter 21 birthday surprise

Twas the middle of August has came. Kids all over Ouroboros has went back to school. My cousins went back to their royal studies.
I've kinda got myself busy with starting a small business making and selling special kind of pants for serpentine called "Snakey Britches." Thankfully I've made some pretty good money off of them as I'd made them affordable for everyone. Thanks to using my late Mama's designs to help other Serpentine who's struggling to get a dissent pairs of pants.
One day on Saturday morning, I was sitting on a cushioned bench of my balcony sipping on coffee while chatting with auntie y/n. "Well Duhvassa! Your birthday is approaching darling, have you thought about any plans you wanted to have?" She asked.
I shooked my head then explained to her that I don't have any plans. So I told her how I'd spent my last year's birthday alone in my old apartment surrounded by my 4 bakugan with just a pepperoni pizza and a small cake. When I told that, it made her heart sank and given me a hug as she felt sorry for me.

When y/n met up with Pythor during lunch, she told Pythor what Duhvassa has told her. Pythor's heart sank upon hearing it. He felt sad for his niece and felt determined to give Duhvassa a great birthday so she doesn't have to spend her birthday alone again.
Upon y/n tell Pythor what Dorcha used to do for Duhvassa every year and her favorite birthday cake flavor. It popped an idea for Pythor. "Looks like we'll have to start planning to surprise on her birthday love!" He declared.
Within a few weeks y/n, Freyja and Aurora did some birthday shopping. Pythor called up one restaurant with a all-you-can-eat pizza buffet. He made a reservation there for that day.

The night before my birthday, I decided to treat myself with a nice soak in the tub. I'd put a Morticia bath potion, some lavender Epsom salt and a ghost face bath bomb in my bath water. I'd lit up a scented candle and a handful of pumpkin LED tea light candles then set them up to make my bath nice and took a nice soak then washed myself feeling refreshed.
After my bath, I'd slipped on my comfy PJs, sipped on my sleepytime tea and munched on some peanut butter cracker sandwiches, then went to bed. I drifted into a deep sleep as I was feeling very cozy.

The morning of Duhvassa's birthday came. Pythor quietly slithered into his niece's room with a smile on his face. He went to her coffee bar, pushes the button on the coffee pot knowingly she always fills it up the night before then leaves her room. "Hopefully she'll wake up to a smell of fresh coffee brewed just for her!" He whispered to himself.
     (Back to Duhvassa's POV)
     I woken up out of my bed to a smell of fresh coffee brewing in my coffee pot. Obviously someone or a servant may have snuck in and turned it on for me. So I got up, threw on my bathrobe and went to my coffee bar to make myself a cup of coffee.
    I've myself a cup of pumpkin spice latte, then sat down on the ottoman in front of my bed. I was starting to drink my coffee to get myself going. Suddenly I'd heard a knock on the door.
     "Who is it?" I yelled, "It's your uncle Pythor sweetheart! May I come in?" He said. Thankfully I have my robe on over my pajamas. "Yes you may uncle Pythor! Don't worry I'm decent!"I replied.
      The swung opened and both my I'll cousins walked in then give me a hug. "Happy Birthday cousin Duhvassa!" Said Freyja and Aurora as they hugged me. Uncle Pythor and aunt y/n walks in smiling as they're carrying 2 presents in their hands. I'm surprised that they knew that it's my birthday and wanted it to make it special for me.
        I returned their hug then used my free hand to sip my coffee. Aunt y/n placed the gift on my bed then give me a hug and wished me a happy birthday. She and uncle Pythor told me that they have a big surprise and I should get myself ready.
       They all left so I can finish my coffee and get ready. I'd opened my my 2 gifts to find a pretty galaxy dress from uncle Pythor and a new matching purse with some new blushes and eye shadow palettes from Aunt y/n. I drank up my coffee, grabbed what I got and went to my walk-in closet to get dressed.
         I'd put on my new dress and style it with my lace trumpet sleeve top under the dress and black leggings under it. I put on some matching jewelry Such as my mood ring, purity ring and my "One in a million" pendant necklace.
        I'd put on my makeup, sprayed on some perfume, grabbed my purse, put on my comfy dress shoes, turned off all the lights and my coffee pot to help save electricity, and went meet up with my folks. When they saw my outfit, they complimented me saying how beautiful I looked. I thanked them then we hopped on uncle Pythor's viper jeep and we're on our way to New Ninjago City.
       We arrived at the Pizza place and we all went inside. We went to the party room that uncle Pythor has booked and everyone there surprised yelled, "Surprise! Happy Birthday Duhvassa!"
       I got surprised that uncle Pythor has threw me a birthday party at the local pizza place. I've finally had a birthday party for the first time in 2 years. Everyone given hugs and we all sat down at the table.
       Our waiter came around and took our orders. We ordered our drinks and pizzas. We waited until it arrives.
       We ate pizza and had a good time. They brought out my birthday cake which is a triple chocolate cake decorated in black icing. They sing my happy Birthday then blew out my candles and we all had cake. I had a bite of my slice of cake and it tastes delicious but rich.
       I was time for presents. I got a lot of nice gifts from everyone including the generals. I got a black rattler hearse from uncle Fangtom. So I now have 2 vehicles, a black pick up truck and a black rattler hearse.
       Skales had given me the most beautiful necklace that reminds me of my mom. Acidicus has gave me a book about my tribe. Skalidor gave me a beautiful tiara made with antique gold and adorned with beautiful jewels such as amethysts, rubies and fire opals that he handcrafted it himself.
       I thanked them both and my uncle for making my birthday a special day and hugged him.
       "I'm so glad that you enjoyed it Duhvassa!" He said as he hugged me. Everyone had a good time until we paid for the bill. It's time for everyone to go home. 
       I put all my presents in the back of my new hearse. Uncle Pythor puts the boxes of the leftover pizzas in the front passenger seat. We all went home afterwards.
       We came home and they helped me put everything away nearly. I treated myself to a nice bath and watched a movie. After that, I cleaned up and went to bed.
