As I arrived in class, I spotted Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung standing near the door, chatting with each other. I approached them with a smile. "Hey, guys. How was Jimin's mom's birthday?"

They exchanged a quick, panicked glance before stuttering out a response. "Oh, it was... great! Yeah, she loved the flowers," Taehyung said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

Jimin looked confused and scratched his head. "Birthday? My mom's? Isn't it in Oct—"

Before he could finish, Jungkook shot him a look that could kill, and Jimin immediately shut up. I noticed that Jungkook still had that sulky expression, avoiding eye contact with me.

I took a deep breath, knowing this was as good a time as any to try and make things right. "Jungkook," I began softly, but he kept looking the other way. "I, uh, wanted to apologize for yesterday. I didn't mean to snap at you. I was just... afraid Mrs. Min would fire me."

Jungkook didn't respond, his jaw tight as he continued to avoid my gaze. Jimin, still clueless about the situation, looked between us with growing confusion. "Wait, what's going on? Why are you apologizing?"

Taehyung gave him a light nudge, signaling him to keep quiet, but Jimin just frowned, clearly not understanding the situation.

I took another deep breath, trying to steady my nerves. "Jungkook, please. I know you were just trying to help, and I snapped at you for no reason. I'm really sorry."

Jungkook finally turned to look at me coldly. "Maybe you should've thought about that before snapping at me. I was only trying to help you, and you made me feel like I was doing something wrong."

I bit my lip. "I know, and I regret it. I shouldn't have taken out my fear and frustration on you."

Jungkook scoffed, his gaze piercing. "So? Yesterday, even I was trying to apologize, and now you expect me to forgive you so easily?" he muttered. "Don't expect me to just forget about it."

I felt a lump forming in my throat as Jungkook's words hit me.

"I don't expect you to forget about it," I said softly, trying to keep my voice steady. "But I do want to make things right. I know I messed up, and I'm really sorry, Jungkook. I didn't mean to hurt you."

Jungkook's eyes narrowed as he studied my face. "It's not just about saying sorry, Y/n. You can't just push people away and then expect everything to go back to normal with an apology."

My heart sank at his words. He was right. I had lashed out at him in the heat of the moment, and now I was paying the price. "I know," I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper. "I just... I just don't want things to be like this between us."

Jungkook crossed his arms. "You think a simple apology is enough?" His said with frustration.

Just as I was about to apologize again, Jungkook suddenly let out a dramatic sigh. "Well, if you really want to make it up to me... bring me something."
