I quickly dialed Jimin's number, and he answered after just two rings.

"Yah, Tae! I've been trying to reach you for the past three days! When will you be back?" he said, sounding both worried and frustrated.

I ignored his concern and went straight to the point. "Jimin-ah, what did you say about Y/N? Is she okay? Why hasn't she been to class?" The questions tumbled out of me in a rush, my anxiety clear.

There was a pause on the other end as Jimin sighed before answering seriously. "Actually, I don't know much, Tae. She asked me about you that day, she seemed scared, I tried calling you several times, but your phone was unreachable, and Jungkook's line wasn't connecting either. Yesterday, Jungkook told me what happened with your uncle and asked me to explain it to Y/N, but..." He paused.

"But what?" I pressed, feeling tense.

"She hasn't shown up since then so I didn't got chance to explain her," Jimin explained with concern.

My heart dropped. "When was the last time you saw her? How did she seem?"

Jimin let out a sigh, thinking back. "The last time I saw her was four days ago, just before the first lecture. She looked... nervous. Distracted, maybe. She didn't really talk to me much after asking about you that day."

"Then what happened?" I asked.

"Well," he continued, "after the first lecture, she left in a hurry. She didn't say a word, just grab her things and run outside. I called her name, but she didn't hear me, or she ignored me. And—"

"And?" I urged.

"She left with Wonwoo," Jimin finished, unsure how I'd react.

I blinked in surprise. "Wonwoo? What do you mean she left with him?"

"Yeah," Jimin confirmed. "I saw them talking in the garden before the first lecture. It didn't look like a casual conversation either. Something seemed off. After the lecture, I saw her leaving in a rush, and Wonwoo followed right behind her. I tried to catch up, but before I could reach them, she got into his car, and they drove off together."

Where could they have gone? I never expected Wonwoo to make his move this quickly, though it was clear he had been trying to get close to her. But now, in my absence, what might have happened between them? My mind raced with unanswered questions.

"Do you have her number? Did you try calling her after that?" I asked urgently.

"Of course I did, but her phone went straight to voicemail. I figured maybe she just needed some time, but... something feels off, Tae," Jimin admitted.

"Alright, thanks for letting me know, Jimin. Can you please send me her number?" I requested.

"Sure, I'll send it right away, but..." Jimin hesitated. "You still haven't answered my question. When will you be back?"

"I'm out of town. My uncle really needs me here, so I won't be able to return anytime soon." I let out a quiet sigh as I clutched the bandage around my waist.

"Is it that serious?" Jimin asked.

"Yeah," I muttered. "But Jungkook will be back tomorrow. Can you and he talk to Wonwoo? He might know something about Y/N. Please try to find out what's going on."

Jimin agreed. "Okay, no worries. I'll pray for your uncle."

"Gomawo, Jimin-ah," I said, ending the call before he could respond.

Jimin immediately sent over Y/N's number. And I called her without second thoughts, my heart pounded as the phone rang. One ring... two rings... nothing, and then, finally, the line clicked, and I heard her voicemail.
