Betrayal feels like a knife in the back
A wound that never quite heal
A sense of loss and disbelief
A trust shattered like fragile glass
There are some positives
From betrayal comes resilience
Strength forged in the fire of pain
Lessons learned
Boundaries set
There are negative impacts aswell
Betrayal leaves a scar
A lingering doubt in every relationship
A fear of vulnerability
A reminder of past hurts and betrayals
Betrayal is a bitter pill to swallow
But it can also be a catalyst for growth
A reminder to choose wisely
To guard our hearts with wisdom and care
