(VERY VERY short section, sorry)
Lucas' eyes widened in shock "W-Wha?, Immortal? But that's impossible!" Lucas stuttered as he took a couple of small steps away from Nico. "For humans, yes. But for Draconians it's possible, although it's not likely of course." Nico said flatly as he crossed his hands as if everything he was saying made perfect sense. "Well if it's possible for Dragons, wouldn't every dragon be immortal?" Nico looked so annoyed Lucas wouldn't have blamed him if Nico slapped him right then and there.
"Of course not, idiot! If every Draconian was immortal we wouldn't need a royal family! In case you didn't know every Draconian is born with a specific power depending on their ancestry. For example, if you had a dragon who could breathe fire have a hatchling with a dragon with tougher scales you could have a dragonet with fire scales. Lucas' eyes widened in curiosity as he snapped his fingers "Oh! I see! That's quite interesting, a Draconian's color also depends on their bloodline, right?" Lucas asked after a moment, to which Nico replied in a much more relaxed yet flat tone "That's correct, I guess you're not as dumb as I thought." Lucas frowned and pointed at Nico accusingly "Hey! I'm not an idiot, y-you are!" Nico's eyes widened in surprise before his brows furrowed in anger "No, you are!" and back and forth they continued, shouting "No, you!" until Nico lunged towards Lucas again, falling on top of him as they tussled around growling and shouting insults, but after a moment they paused, and Lucas noticed
Just how beautiful Nico was.
