As I enter the school my eyes immediately go to where Stan and Ford are. I smile slightly as I watch Stan be the more talkative one this time out of the two. I readjust my backpack slightly before making my way over to them.

"Good morning!" Ford greets immediately when he sees me, a shy smile on his face. "About time you got here." Stan grins, his arm casually finding its way over my shoulder.

"Morning." I smile back at Ford before glancing up at Stan. "You're touchy today." I raise my eyebrow in amusement. "Am I?" Stan pretends to be oblivious to the fact that he has his arm around me. "I don't recall touching you at all." A smug look forms on his face.

Ford rolls his eyes at his twin's antics as I laugh. "Sure, play the innocent card." I then look back at Ford as I remember something. "I won't be in physics tomorrow. Do you mind if I copy your notes sometime after so I don't get behind?"

"Sure. I'll make sure to take extra detailed notes for you." Ford agrees with a nod. "You're skipping class? Bad girl." Stan grins with a small chuckle, teasing me.

"You don't need to take special notes or anything." My smile grows at his eagerness as I flip Stan off at the same time. "I don't mind, really." Ford assures me. Stan's grin grows and he ruffles my hair as a response to the finger, knowing it always annoys me.

"Hey." I grumble out finally looking at him. "What's got you skipping class anyway? Better not be some guy." I open my mouth to answer but close it as I get an idea to mess with them. I shrug as I let out a small hum. "I guess you could say it's cause of a guy."

Ford's smile vanishes from his face with the confirmation of my words while Stan's frown grows. "Some guy?" Ford asks. "What guy?" Stan questions while his frown grows as well, his grip on my shoulder subconsciously getting tighter.

I stare at them both with a blank expression before a small smile forms on my face. Before I know it I'm laughing loudly. "Oh god you both should see your faces." One of my hands goes up to cover my mouth. "Your reactions are priceless."

Stan's frown turns into a pout as Ford's expression morphs into a bashful one as they realize I was just messing with them. "Very funny." Ford says sarcastically. "Ha ha. Hilarious." Stan responds while rolling his eyes. "So what are you really doing tomorrow instead of going to class?"

"I am meeting with a guy. My guidance counselor." I smirk proudly at being able to trick both of them. Ford can usually always tell when I'm trying to mess with them so it was hilarious to be able to finally trick him.

"You couldn't have just led with that?" Ford asks as he shakes his head. "For a minute there I actually thought some no-good guy was trying to steal you away from us." Stan adds as he pulls his arm off my shoulders and crosses them instead.

I roll my eyes this time. "You really think I'd date a "no-good guy"? I have standards, you know." I cross my arms as well, mimicking Stan's stance. "Fair, but I mean, people do make stupid decisions. Especially for love." Stan points out. Ford nods in agreement. "Yeah, I've read articles that talk about how the brain turns off rational thinking when it comes to romantic feelings."

My eyes light up at Ford's comment. "Yeah. I learnt about that last year in my psychology class. The brain is such an interesting thing." I stop myself from rambling as my cheeks turn a light pink. Ford's face lights up as well once I mention psychology.

He enjoys talking to me about science, more so than anyone else. "Yeah, it is. It's incredible how there's so many different parts of it that can control or affect people in different ways." Ford agrees. I have a tendency to ramble about topics I'm interested in to the point where Ford and I can talk hours on end and not even realize it. "Psychology would have been so much more fun last year if we got put in the same class." I sigh.
