Camden

I groan as I open my eyes in a squint, I forgot to close Sofia's blinds last night. I shut my eyes again and tried to shift on my side, but a weight on my body prevented me from doing so.

I look down and saw Sofia asleep on my chest, I hold back a giggle as I took in her sleeping form. Her red hair looks like a birds nest, her little snores sounds so cute.

I sigh and plop my head back down on the pillow, letting out a sigh. Sofia is going to feel like shit when she wakes up, let's just say she doesn't take hangovers very well.

I felt her shift on top of me, and when I look down her blue eyes were already on mine.

"Good morning, princess." I teased and she lets out a groan, shutting her eyes again.

"Morning." She mumbled, I stretched out my limps as she sat up in bed.

"I feel like shit." I snort and ruffled her already messy hair. "You look like it." She shoot me a glare before she plop down on her back again. But something feels off about her, she looks...sad.

"What's wrong, you look sad, what's bothering you?" I asked her softly, she looks down and I'm not used to her being like this.

"It's just, I know Mateo likes me like I like him, right, but for some reason he doesn't want to ask me out." She said sadly, and my heart clenched painfully at her words.

How can one person be so damn blind. I sigh and sit next to her on the bed and brought her into my arms for a much needed hug.

"Look, Sofi, I don't know what his problem is, and why he hasn't ask you out, but if he did like you like you like him, he would've asked you out a long time ago." I muttered softly against her head, resting my cheek on top of her head.

Her arms tightened around my waist, she lets out a groan, before she stood up and pace around, running her hand through her messy hair.

"Then there's only one thing I can do, is to make him jealous." My eyebrows shoot up at this, what the fuck is she on about?

"Sofia, don't do something dumb." I said to her and her blue eyes lit up, and I already know that she has an idea in her head, and something tells me it's bad.

"And I know just how." She smirks and I let out an awkward laugh.

"Sofia, whatever it is, I don't think it's a great idea—" She cuts me off.

"Be my fake girlfriend." My eyes widen, my mouth goes dry as I stare at her like a deer caught in headlights.

"No, Sofia, that will only put more fuel on the fire, I'm not going to." I shook my head profusely.

I mean, I already love her more like a best friend, and if I do this, and it's already fake not real, I know my feelings is going to be hurt at the end of the day. And as much as I want to help her, I can't.

"Camden, please, I really need your help." She said with a pout, her big doe eyes staring at me.

Don't give in, Camden.

Don't give in, Camden.

DON'T GIVE IN!

"No." She groans frustratedly. "Why not Cam, I mean we're not actually going to catch feelings for each other if you really do this, I mean, why do you not want to do this? Is there a reason behind why you're saying no?" She asked, she stare intensely at me that made my heart beat incredibly fast against my rib cage.

She can't find out, there's no way, that I'm going to tell her the real reason why I'm saying no to her, she already have questions, questions I don't want to answer.

She raised a brow as I just stare at her, I sigh and run my hand through my hair.

"Fine." She grins, and tackled me into a hug. "Thank you, thank you." I grunt as she squeezed me too tight.

"C-Can't b-breathe." I tapped her back to let me go, she let me go and gave me a sheepish smile.

"Sorry." She giggled and I mentally slap myself for agreeing to this.

"You staying for breakfast?" She asked as she rummaged through her drawer.

"Why not." I shrugged and she nods.

"I'm going to hop in the shower, you know where your clothes are." She gave me a wink before disappearing behind her bathroom door.

Fuck what have I done to myself.

This is bad, like really bad.

Shit.
