"Bokuto-san, it's about L/n-san."
Bokuto raised a brow, crossing his arms over his chest. "What about her? Are you here to defend her for standning me up on Halloween? Why hasn't she been responding to my calls or texts? Can you tell me any of that, Itadori?!"
Itadori sighs, pulling the hood off of his head. "Yes, actually. On Halloween, curse users attacked the Shibuya station and all available sorcerers were sent to the area. Y/n was one of them. Kugisaki, and another sorcerer named Nanami died that night, along with a few others. Gojo had gotten sealed, but we were able to get him freed in November."
Bokuto relaxed, leaning against a nearby wall. "So what happened to Y/n?"
The pink haired boy sighed, looking at the ground. "Sukuna got out and did some damage. No one knows exactly what happened, since no one was near her at the time it happened. But we know she got slammed up against a building. She ended up with cuts and bruises all over her, including her head. She's been in a coma ever since. We all want her to wake up, but she shows no signs of anything changing. She's hooked up to machines that are keeping her alive, and everything is stable, but she just won't wake up."
The owl like boy remains silent for a few moments, looking at the ground. He clenches his hands into fists, gritting his teeth. "And you expect me to believe that?"
Itadori's eyes widened. "That's what happened. Why don't you believe it? She told you everything about curses and our world -"
"And I'm supposed to believe all that?! Do you have any idea how crazy all that sounds?! I'm fine without her. She can pretend like nothing bad happened if she wants. But she left me! I waited and was dying inside! I don't care anymore! I just want to live my life! And I can do it without her."
The pink haired boy tensed. "She loves you, man! I know she does! Everyone knows how much she was looking forward to your date that night! We all helped her pick out a costume! If things hadn't gone as bad as they were, she would've been there with you, I promise you that's the case. Please believe me."
Bokuto huffed out a breath. "Then take me to her. Prove to me that she's really in a coma. I'll only wait for her when I've seen for myself what the truth is."
He flinched, taking a step back. "Look, we can't do that. It's forbidden to let a nonsorcerer come to our campus. You just need to believe me. Wait a little longer. We're trying to get L/n-san to wake up. She just needs a little more time."
"I can't believe this. I waited so long. How long do you think I can keep this up?"
"I'm sorry. We can probably work something out. We'll try having her awake and get her to you by the time you graduate."
The ace glared. "You want me to wait two more months? Are you crazy? You just want me to believe what you say without any proof. I never saw any of these curses, I can't prove what any of you say is the truth. How do you expect me to wait while not knowing if I'm being lied to?"
Itadori was panicking on the inside, trying his best to remain calm. "I - um, look. Between you and me, it'll be a problem if anyone finds you on Jujutsu High's school grounds. But, just this once, I'll make a deal. You come with me, and I'll take you to L/n-san. If this is the only way you'll believe me, then I have no choice. I'm doing this for L/n-san, because I know she loves you with her entire being. Come with me." He starts walking towards the exit.
Bokuto follows after him, passing by the others. "Something came up, guys. I'm gonna go with him to see someone. I'll see you all later." He leaves the building with the sorcerer, not daring to look back at his friends.
Akaashi sighed. "He's going to spiral back into depression if this has anything to do with L/n."

Itadori carefully, and stealthily, guides the nonsorcerer across the Jujutsu high campus. He lets the older boy into the room, closing the door behind him. "Right on that bed. That's where L/n-san is."
Bokuto slowly walks over, seeing you with half your face covered by your hair. "She's really in a coma." He looks at all the machines hooked up to you, stepping closer until he was right next to the bed.
Itadori sighs, staying by the door so no one else comes into the room. "I told you. We have no clue when she'll wake up, or if she'll even remain alive. Everyone sent me to tell you the news, and so I did everything I needed to do. Do you believe me now?"
Bokuto nods, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Yeah, of course I do." He brushes the hair out of your face, gasping. "This scar."
"She got it during the incident. No one was around her, so we can't say with certainty what happened. The best we can do is guess until she wakes up."
"If she wakes up." The nonsorcerer grabs your hand, tightly holding it between both of his. "Y/n, if you can hear me... it's Koutarou. I believe everything. I'll wait just a little longer before moving on with my life. Please, wake up soon."
Itadori looks around, making sure no one is outside of the room. "You need to get going soon. I have to get you off campus before we risk you getting caught by anyone else. Do you understand me, Bokuto-san?"
Bokuto sighs, nodding. He stands up, slowly letting go of your hand. He bends down, kissing your forehead. "I love you, Y/n."
Itadori guides the ace off the campus, making sure no one sees either of them. He leads him back to where Bokuto can get back home safely. "See you, Bokuto-san." He turns around to start leaving.
Bokuto turns to call out to him. "Take care of Y/n for me."
He doesn't look back, just pauses mid step. "I will." And he disappears into the night.
