Gojo sighs, sitting beside your bed. "So, Yuuji talked things over with your boyfriend. Good news, he believes everything and will be waiting patiently for you until the day he graduates. If you wake up by then, you should surprise him with a visit to his school as he receives his diploma and leaves high school behind. Would be pretty romantic of you, Y/n."

You lay, eyes closed with no trace of waking up. You remain unmoving. Still in a coma.

The white haired man groans, pulling his blindfold off his face. "Gimme something to work with, Y/n! Move your hand or something! Literally do something other than laying there unconscious! We need you now more than ever. Things are happening and we need all the help we can get. So many good sorcerers died in Shibuya, others ended up with scars or body changing injuries. You need to wake up soon. You only have a month left before your boyfriend is gonna give up on you to focus on his own life. I know you love him, so get up and let him know how you are."

Once again, nothing happens.

Gojo stands up, kicking the chair he was sitting in. "Come on! Do something! Anything! I don't care what it is! Just show me you're not a vegetable!"

You don't respond, don't wake up. But something does happen. Your heart rate changes, your breathing becoming slower and shallower. The machines hooked up to you beep, indicating that there's a problem.

Gojo notices bad things are happening, starting to panic. "Not that way! I meant wake up or move! Not start dying on me!" He bolts out of the room, searching for the one person that can help him. He slams a door open, shouting into the room. "Shoko! Something's wrong with Y/n! Fix it!"

Shoko rushes out of the room, following Gojo back to where you are. "What happened?"

"Things beeped, something's wrong! I don't know! I'm not a doctor!" Gojo walked back to where he had been beside your bed. "Do something!"

Shoko takes a look at the machines. "Huh. Her breathing is shallow and her heart rate slowed. Lemme just inject something into the tube in her wrist, then everything should start returning to normal." She grabs a syringe, injecting the fluid within it into the IV drip. "There. Her vitals will go back to normal. Stop panicking. Just continue keeping an eye on her while I go file some paperwork. I'll be back and start checking up on her every hour." She leaves the room, closing the door behind her.

Gojo sighs, fixing the chair back where it was and sitting down. "You gave me a scare, Y/n. That's not anywhere near what I wanted you to do. I mean, thanks for showing you're still alive, but don't try to die on me." He chuckles dryly. "But seriously, you need to wake up soon. Everyone misses you. We'd all like to see you moving around and being as alive as ever. You're beginning to run out of time. Whatever it is you need to do, hurry up with it. Get your shit together and wake up. I think your boyfriend would be happy to be able to spend time with you again."

You lay there, not changing. Your vitals steadily return to normal, and you seem to have a little color come back to your face for a split second. Not long enough to be celebrated, but just long enough to confirm that you were still alive.

The teacher leans back in the chair, looking at the ceiling. "Man, this sucks. I feel like I'm talking to myself since you can't respond. It's like torture, waiting for something to happen with you. Maki's already reaching a limit with how much of this she can take. Panda and Yuta are keeping her away from here for a while, just until she shows that she's getting better. Itadori doesn't wanna come by often, not after seeing your boyfriend. He feels like he'd just get upset if there's no good news, or a change with you. And Megumi... well he comes by as often as he can. He likes checking up on you, even if he knows that nothing will be different. I don't know if he talks to you like me and some of the others, though. Wish you could confirm if he does or not. That would be helpful."

The room goes silent, the only noises that could be heard were coming from the machines attached to you. The room felt dark and dreary, not a good vibe. But, at least you were still alive.

Gojo sighs, eyes flicking back to your figure. "Look, Y/n, I won't ask much of you. As long as you don't die, I'll be happy. I'll protect you the moment you wake up, and help nurse you back to your top form. I'll do whatever it takes to get you back to how you were. And, I'll understand if you want to leave the world of Jujutsu. I'll help you out. All you need to do in return is wake up."

As expected, you don't wake up. You remain on the bed, still unconscious.

Gojo shakes his head. "I guess I was expecting too much so soon." He gets off the chair, putting his blindfold back on. "I've got things to tend to. I'll see you again as soon as I get the chance. Continue getting better, Y/n." He leaves the room, closing the door behind him.

Back on the bed, the fingers of your dominant hand twitch slightly. They brush against the bed sheet, feeling the fabric. You take a deep breath, being able to smell the hospital room.

"I need to wake up."
