You stand right at the entrance gate to Fukurodani. You take deep breaths, wondering if you were wearing the right outfit. It was cold out, so you had a f/c coat with matching leggings. You were wearing a nice shirt under the coat, one that Bokuto would hopefully see if he agrees to come with you to a cafe. You suddenly felt nervous, not knowing how he was going to react. Back when you were in the coma, he sounded happy to see you again. But Itadori had told you everything that he said that day. And those words were ringing in your head as you wait for your boyfriend to leave high school behind.

You run your fingers through your hair, making sure the scar over your eye was covered. Even if he saw it before, you weren't willing to show nonsorcerers the scar you earned during the Shibuya incident. You let out a sigh, eyes focusing on the ground. "What if it's too late and he doesn't want to see me? Should I just go back?"

"L/n?" A somewhat familiar voice calls out to you.

You look up, seeing Akaashi staring at you with wide eyes. You smile nervously. "Hey, Akaashi. Sorry I haven't been around... I got in an accident and was in a coma for the past couple of months."

"Let me guess, this accident happened on October 31st?"

You nod. "Unfortunately. If it never happened, I would've met up with Kou that night. But I finally woke up yesterday, and I'm here to celebrate his graduation. Do you know if he's gonna be here soon?"

Akaashi looks away. "They're finishing up with the ceremony. He'll be walking this way soon." He walks away, not wanting to speak with you any longer. He walks up to Bokuto. "Be careful, there's someone here to see you."

Bokuto looks in confusion as the setter walks away from him. He scans the area, not seeing anyone walking towards him or looking in his direction. He shrugs it off, walking towards the entrance gate. He freezes in his tracks as he comes across familiar h/c hair. "Y-Y/n?" He's in complete disbelief as he looks at you.

You look at him, a smile spreading on your face. "Sorry to keep you waiting, Kou. I'm finally awake and here for you. Congrats on graduating from high school." You stand awkwardly, not knowing if you were in a position to hug him.

Tears build in his eyes, and he takes steps closer to you. "It's really you. You - you're finally here. I waited so long. I thought I'd never see you again. I was worried you stopped loving me and just left without a word. For all I knew, you could've died but no one would've told me."

"I'm really sorry. I can explain the whole situation, but not out here in the open. If you come with me to a small, quiet cafe, I promise to tell you everything that happened that night with as much detail as I can remember." You look at him, worried about his answer.

Bokuto wraps his arms around you, kissing your forehead. "I waited so long, so of course I'm gonna listen to everything you need to say. Lead the way, let's go." He lets go, grabbing your hand.

You nod, taking him to a nearby cafe.

"And that's what happened."

His golden eyes were as wide as can be. "You could've died."

"Yeah." You chuckle dryly. "But, I'm still alive. I know we can't make up that Halloween date until this Halloween, but I'll do whatever it takes to make up for all the dates I missed in that time."

Bokuto smiled. "We can start by having a horror movie marathon at my house tonight."

"Sounds like a plan." You take a sip of your drink, then look into his eyes with a serious expression. "You know, Gojo offered something to me."

"Oh? What did he offer?"

You look at the table. "I'm leaving this decision up to you. I'll follow you wherever you go in the future, no matter where it may be. But, if you think it would be best for us, I can leave the Jujutsu world. I can quit being a sorcerer, go to a normal school, and get a regular job. We can live a peaceful life together, if you want."

Bokuto hums, looking at his drink. "I'd never ask you to change your whole life for me. I want you to keep protecting the world, because you sorcerers make it a better place. If even one of you quit, then that puts more of us nonsorcerers at risk. Keep doing this, we can figure out future together. And, speaking of that..." He pulls a box out of his pocket. "I was hoping that I would see you today. I really wanted to do this since we first got together, but I wanted to wait until I graduate to actually give it to you." He opens the box, revealing a silver ring with a big heart shaped diamond on it. "Will you marry me."

You gasp, putting your hands over your mouth. "Kou, are you serious?"

He nods. "I want to spend the rest of our lives together, no matter how long that ends up being. I love you with every bit of me, and I know I'll never be able to love anyone else. I believe that we're soulmates. So, will you marry me?"

You nod, smiling as your remove your hands from your mouth. "Of course I'll marry you, Kou!"

He happily slips the ring on your left ring finger. "Good. I would've felt terrible if you said no. I probably would've cried." He chuckles lightly.

"I was never gonna say no to you. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. You were the first thing on my mind when I was regaining consciousness. I mean, I just woke up yesterday and decide the first thing I'll do it come see you."

"And That makes me so happy."

You two laid cuddled in his bed, skin touching skin. You lean over to kiss his cheek. "I love you so much, Kou."

He holds you closer, the movie still playing in the background. "I love you so much more, Y/n."

You kiss each other, finally being one after months of pain and heartache.

You're no longer gone. You are with Bokuto Koutarou. And you two are as happy as can be.

You have a long future ahead of you. But, at least you'll always have each other.
