Gojo and the others walk quickly through the halls, not believing what they just heard. "If Shoko is lying to me, I'm going to kill her."

They burst into the room, eyes widening at the sight before them.

You turn your head, looking right at your friends. A smile appears on your face. "Hey, everyone. Miss me?"

Maki rushes over, hugging you tightly. She lets out a sob, tears of pure joy spilling from her eyes. "More than you could ever know."

You hug her back. "I missed being able to speak with you all, but I was able to hear pretty much everything you said. Also, be careful, Shoko just finished removing everything from my body. Speaking of which., when can I go back to eating normal food, Shoko?"

The medical professional doesn't look at you as she continues packing up the machines that used to be hooked up to you. "As soon as tomorrow. I'll bring you special food for today only. You can start working on going back to your normal routine quickly."

You nod, patting Maki's back. "It's ok now. I'm back to normal. Things are going to get better." You look over at Gojo. "How much time do I have?"

Gojo grins. "Tomorrow is your deadline. Show up to his school in the morning and wait for him to finish with his graduation ceremony. I'll wish you good luck."

You push your friend off of you, swinging your legs over the edge of the bed. "Looks like I woke up just in time. I need to get my body working just well enough for me to be able to handle being on my own outside."

Maki moves away, standing just a little bit away from you. "What are you talking about, Y/n?"

You grin, looking up at everyone. "Tomorrow I gotta meet Kou. He's been waiting for too long for me to come back to him."

Itadori smiles. "Good. It took a lot to convince him that I was telling him the truth about what happened to you. Looks like other people were convincing him to try to move on from you, and he was about to call it quits to wait for you to come back."

You slowly stand up, being careful to not lose your balance. "Thanks for convincing him to not give up on me, Itadori. I owe you." You look at your feet, touching the ground perfectly stable. You slowly look up to face everyone again. "Where's Nobara?"

Itadori frowns, a sad look covering his face. "Mahito killed her when Shibuya was attacked."

You look down, sadness taking over you. "I see. Sorry to hear that. I'm guessing that she wasn't the only one killed that night. But I don't need to know any of that right now. We can talk about it some other time. Right now, there are more important things to worry about."

Okkotsu raises a brow. "Is this boyfriend of yours I'm hearing a bit about really that important to you?"

You nod. "You don't know the half of it. Kou and I are..." You trail off, not sure if you should say it.

Gojo finishes for you. "Soulmates. Your technique is an owl, which represents him. Even though it was unlikely since he's a nonsorcerer, you can't deny the facts. You should get cleaned up, we'll bring some food to your room. Just go and start getting ready for tomorrow. You have a big day ahead of you."

"Yeah." You walk across the room, making your way out the door. You begin your walk back to your dorm room. You open the door, walking inside. You flick on your light and head to the bathroom attached to your dorm.

When you got dressed, you walk out of your bathroom. You dry your hair with your towel, then put it back where it belongs. You brush your hair, then sit down on your bed. You release a sigh, slowly sinking into the comfortable mattress.

A knock sounds on your door, echoing into the room.

"Come in." You call out.

Gojo steps in, holding some light snacks in his hands. "Brought you some stuff that Shoko said you could have. Mind if I stay with you for a little bit?"

You pat the bed next to you, slowly sitting up to look at the tall man. "Make yourself at home."

He happily walked over, sitting next to you on your bed. "How are you feeling?"

"Clean. I definitely needed that shower."

"You did. I didn't wanna say it, but several months without a proper shower doesn't suit you. Shoko can only clean so much with a sponge bath. We all were getting desperate to have you wake up and take care of yourself."

You roll your eyes at his joke. "Oh, shut it. I heard you begging me to wake up just because you missed me. Don't try to act like you weren't worried about me going back to normal."

Gojo holds his hands up in defense as you start eating the snacks. "Ok, I get it. You're not in the mood for jokes. But, in all seriousness, I did miss having you awake and around. No one else is as fun as you." He goes quiet for a few moments. "Are you nervous about seeing your boyfriend after all this time?"

"Not really. I mean, I know he wants to see me. I just don't know what I'm gonna say about what's happened since the last time I saw him."

He shrugs. "Just tell him the truth. Let him know, in detail, everything that happened that night. He needs to know exactly what happened to keep you from the date you two planned."

You smile, enjoying the snacks he brought. "Thanks, Gojo. I think I know how I'm gonna let him know everything. I can't wait to see him tomorrow."
