CHAPTER-3

AUTHOR'S POV:-

Shivani arrived at the office precisely at 8:45 AM and relaxed upon noticing that Kanika had not yet arrived. So, she decided to review the work Kanika had assigned to her the previous day to ensure it was perfect.

 At exactly 9:00 AM, Kanika walked in, looking slightly flustered but ready to start the day. Everyone greeted her with a polite 'Good morning.' 

morning, everyone,' Kanika said as she walked towards her private lift.

When Kanika arrived on the 26th floor, Shivani greeted her warmly. Kanika responded with a nod and a smile before heading into her office. Shivani went to prepare a black coffee for her.

At precisely 9:10 AM, Shivani knocked on the office door, and Kanika called out, 'Come in.'

Shivani placed the coffee on Kanika's desk. Kanika then said, 'Yesterday, I gave you the files to review. Did you study them?' Shivani nodded in response.

Kanika continued,  give the files to Vipul for review. He'll check them and let you know if there are any mistakes.

Okay, ma'am,' Shivani replied, and then walked towards the door to leave.

Wait,' Kanika said. 'Be ready at exactly 11 AM. We need to head to Rathore Enterprises.

Sure, ma'am,' Shivani replied, and then went to find Vipul, who could train the interns. She went and knocked on Vipul's office door while he was speaking with his clients. He signaled for her to come in and told her to wait while he was on the phone.

After he ended the call, Vipul inquired about the matter at hand.

Shivani said, 'Sir, Madam asked me to give you the files. Please review them and let me know if there are any errors. I would appreciate your guidance on any necessary corrections.'

Vipul said, Certainly, I will provide you with feedback by 2 p.m., as I have other commitments to attend to as well.

'Sure, sir,' she replied, then sought Vipul's permission before heading back to Kanika's office.

She then went to Kanika, who was working on Rathore Enterprises, and asked, 'Ma'am, is there anything I can assist with?'

"No, get ready. We have to leave soon," Kanika replied.

After a while, Shivani and Kanika settled into the car.  A short time later, the driver informed them, 'Ma'am, we have arrived.

They both got out of the car, and here was Rathore Enterprises. Two bodyguards came and positioned themselves behind Kanika.

They began to walk and entered the building, where Rudransh Singh Rathore and his PA, Arvind Singh, was waiting for them. (Arvind is Nirvaan's best friend).

Rudransh Singh Rathore was a highly successful businessman. His rival company hacked into their system and deleted crucial information. They then challenged him to leak the data. In response, Rudransh filed a case against his rivals. Rudransh wanted Kanika to lead the case on his behalf. Initially, Kanika declined the case because she is a criminal lawyer and this was a civil matter. However, since Rudransh's connections were with Aayansh, Aayansh persuaded her to take on the case. Kanika ultimately agreed, as she couldn't refuse Aayansh's request.

 And here Arvind was shocked to see Kanika with Nirvaan's sister. But, since it was a professional setting, he kept his reaction to himself.

They proceeded to the office for the meeting. Kanika outlined some key points and requested additional details from Rudransh. After discussing the case further, she reassured him that they would win.
