CHAPTER-4

In two days, Kanika will have a court hearing, and she is confident because she has strong evidence against the defendants. She has worked tirelessly day and night to prepare for this.

During work hours, while she was in a meeting, Kanika got a call. She asked Shivani to answer it and inform the caller that she would return the call later. However, the call was from an important contact. The caller was none other than Aayansh, who initially reached out to her private number. When she didn't answer, he called her office number instead.

After she saw that the call was from Aayansh and spoke with him, he explained that a client of Nirvaan had threatened him and caused a scene in his office. Upon hearing this, she was seething with anger. 

She called Shivani, her PA, and angrily demanded to know why she hadn't informed her that the call was from Aayansh. She criticized Shivani for lacking professionalism and warned her not to mistake her polite manner for weakness. She said many more things to Shivani in her anger, and in the heat of the moment, she lost track of what she was saying and to whom.

Because it was related to Kiaan, she felt no one had the right to speak to him like that. Although she hadn't been with him for years, no one had dared to cross him. If anyone did, they would face consequences.

Shivani said sorry and left while crying, as she was used to being pampered and had never been spoken to like that before in her family.

AT NIGHT:-

In a basement, the location of which was unknown, a man was tied up with ropes and endured severe torture. Then she arrived, dressed entirely in black, and took a seat in front of him.

Kanika grabbed the glass of water from the table and slowly walked towards the man.

"Aaaaahhhhhhhhh !"

The  man whimpered and screamed in pain when she splash a glass of water on his face. but unfortunately, his screams were muffled because of his mouth being shut.

But why did he screamed with just a glass of water?

Because it wasn't normal water. it was hot boiling water.

"Rest time is over, James."- She said. taking out the cloth from his mouth and he screamed in pain.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" and " WHY I AM HERE"?- He asked.

Kanika who smiled at his question and said "Ugh, you hurt my feelings James!."

"What the hell are you saying? just cut the crap and tell me what you want from me?- He asked.

"Your life."- Kanika answered in her life-threatening voice that could make anyone shiver in fear.

"Wh—wh—what are you sayi?" " Who are you ?"

"'NK,' Kanika replied with a smile while  fear grips his body when he realizes that the woman sitting in front of him is none other than NK.

The NK, whose name alone is enough to make people forsake everything. She is mysterious and dangerous, capable of destroying someone with just a snap of her fingers, and today, that someone is him."

"You know you've committed a sin today," she asked, with a flicker of terror in her eyes.

He shook his head in terror.

You threatened my man. you even dared to give him a cold stare. So, tell me, how should I punish you?
