‘’I know you want more power!’’ Axar slithered. ‘’Why wouldn’t i?” Asher agreed, his forepaws scraped against the rocks of the well; he was desperate to look inside. ‘’I want to make a deal with you.’’ He rasped, his voice getting closer as if floating towards the top of the well. ‘’I know how much you love Deaser, but would you give his life for all the powers Toni has, maybe even more?” … ‘’No!’’ Asher replied firmly. Remembering what Dylan once did, he refused to repeat it. ‘’Axar! I will not make a deal with you! Especially on behalf of someone i love!’’ He growled. ‘’Who are you anyways?” For a moment Asher was scared of the entity’s voice. The Phantom of Shadows arose from within his well, his red eyes bright like shooting stars, and his ghost-like appearance was a dark mass. ‘’A Boltcat!’’ His evil voice rasped. ‘’I’ve never seen one of you want power.’’

‘’Would you perhaps make a deal on the life of a villain?!’’ … ‘’Perhaps on Beltros? Or Xer?” Now the Phantom of Shadows was trying everything he could. ‘’It would be great if you could kill Beltros or Xer, however i want my powers to be rightly granted to me!’’ He said bravely. Axar’s eyes stared back at him with anger; since he was a phantom, he needed permission to harm people, and often he traded powers for it. ‘’Axar, as much as i want these powers i have to earn them.’’ He spoke up. ‘’What about just a small deal then?”... He was trying everything he could to coax him into sin. This had Asher thinking for a moment. ‘’How about this?” Axar attempted one more thing. ‘’Will you let me kill Beltros in exchange for power?” Asher sat there, not knowing what to do. Asher knew Axar is a villain, and nothing could change that; he needed to get his powers rightly. ‘’No!’’ He backed away from the phantom. ‘’Strangle Beltros if you want, but i will not make a deal with an evil entity, like my sorcerer did!’’ He growled. ‘’Alright then!’’  Axar rasped, with eyes red like the light on a candle, he slid back into his well.

Walking back, apart of Asher wondered what would happen, had he made those deals with Axar. But Asher was an honest soul, and wanted to earn power, not to repeat Dylan’s mistakes…

‘’Dylan! Dylan!’’ He called for his master, as he neared the lighthouse. That night more prophecies would come to Asher in his dreams…
