Asher the Survivor

Chapter Forty One

''Oh no!'' Looking around the dungeon like room, there were several hearts in jars, all collected by Valerie. On the ground were remains of people who have failed to kill her; including a few Boltcats, who, like Asher, also desired power. ''A sorcerer and a..'' ... ''Boltcat\Conjurer.'' ... ''If you fail to kill me, i will take your heart.'' It was obvious she had the power of lightning, by the way her hands glowed blue. She struck Dylan with a painful blast, for a moment it looked as if he was having a seizure. ''Nooooo!'' Asher pleaded, he casted a shield of electricity over himself and Dylan. ''We got this.'' He assured, but as soon as he lost the mental strength to hold onto his shield, Valerie casted a tornado of lightning at them both. The blue crackling blasts spiraled, causing them to fall to the ground in pain. ''Drink this.'' Dylan commanded, drinking of the bright red potion. ''No!" Dylan squirmed as Valerie stepped on his right hand. She continued to hurl crackling electricity at him. He could feel himself getting weak, like he was about to die any minute. Asher hurled himself at Valerie, hissing and spitting. She turned away from Dylan, shooting Asher with blue jolts of lightning. He fell to the ground, jolting with pain. Is this the end of us? He wondered...

Moments later Dylan found his strength, he casted beams of ocean sorcery at the Sorceress of Hearts. Valerie grabbed her sword, ready to slice him. Dylan used all the mental and physical power he had, forcing himself to conjure all his mana, until he couldn't anymore... And at last he killed Valerie, by unleashing all his magick...

A door opened up, and this time it was to the Wizard Jax directly. ''Very well,'' He clapped. He looked just like an average wizard, except for his robe and hat were a unique color of neon green. ''Both of you deserve to be wizards!'' ... ''May i ask your names?" ... ''Asher,'' ... ''And Dylan.'' They were too exhausted to say their titles, that they would no longer have in a few seconds.

''Dylan, you are no longer the Sorcerer of the Sea, i Jax the Great And Powerful Neon Wizard, pronounce you the Wizard of the Sea.''

Before pronouncing anything. Jax asked Asher which element he'd like. ''I want many like Toni!'' Asher beamed with joy...

''Asher you are no longer just a Boltcat, and a basic Conjurer, i Jax the Great And Powerful Neon Wizard, pronounce you a Wizard of many powers, fire, ice, electricity, lightning, glass, moon, stars, shadows, plants, lightness, wind, sea, and dream!''

Asher was surprised to have all the powers Dylan had, and many more. In the end his life goal was accomplished. He turned to Dylan saying, ''I couldn't do it without you Pal.''

...Three years later...

Ever since the day Asher became a wizard, he was confident he had the power to defeat Beltros. The only problem was that the half-cat half-octopus wasn't seen in years, until now...

Asher and Dylan stood against Beltros, now fully equipped and ready for one last fight.
"We got this!" Dylan assured. "I love you Asher." ... "I love you too." And with that they unleashed all their powers.

First with the power of dream, Asher created ripples in the fabric of reality, this had a simular effect to a flash bomb, and Beltros' was temporarily binded, to what was a daydream and what was real. Dylan shot many arrows made of water at Beltros, then crafted a spiked backhanded and threw that on him with all the force he had. One wave of his tentacles though, knocked the duo to the ground. "I got this," Asher assured. Using his glass magick he caused multiple stalgtites of glass to sprout up like a plant under Beltro's feet. "Ahhh!" The bipedal entity fell. "Now!" Yelled Dylan! Casting a water tornado at him. Asher casted various powers on Beltros, but it was all over when Dylan pulled out his sword.

"I couldn't do it without you!" Asher cheered. "That's the power of teamwork!" Dylan hugged Asher.

In the end the boltcat and sorcerer won; because evil cannot win.
