‘’Give it to your Boltcat?” … ‘’Dylan, have you forgot only King’s and the Wizard that lives in Meredith can grant other species powers?’’ … ‘’Right.’’ Embarrassed, Dylan brushed back his dark hair. ‘’Well,’’ He nudged Asher with his boot. ‘’Should i trade with Gage?’’ Asher definitely thought it was a good idea; memorized by sorcery, he knows there will be a time when he has more of it…

Dylan then pulled out his oak staff. ‘’I Dylan the Sorcerer of the Sea, would like to exchange a simple magick trick with Gage the Glass Sorcerer, i will trade him the power to conjure flames within my palm, and in return i will gain the ability to cast shattered glass at victims.’’ … And it was right then, they  switched powers.
They then tested these new abilities. Gage conjured flames from within his palm, reflecting a blinding light on the glass he was made of. He was now made of tempered glass, able to withstand 10x more damage…
Dylan on the other hand, shot shards of glass out in fingertips, and the glass pierced through a tree. ‘’Good trade!’’ Dylan and Gage shook hands, for a moment Dylan pulled himself back, he felt the heat of the tempered glass right through his gauntlet. They said their goodbyes, and continued walking…

‘’The yellow eye! It’s right there!’’ Asher beamed. A mustard-colored dragon-like eye levitated over a black post; it had a slit for a pupil, and seemed to be staring right at them. ‘’Are you ready Asher?” Dylan asked, feeling the evil surrounding them. ‘’Of course I'm ready.’’ Asher replied. Both of them touched the charred post in unison…
For a moment Desmount swayed under them.  It was like the world, as they knew it, turned upside down, and into a dark spiral. And soon they were no longer on this Planet… There was absolutely no color in the Evilside, even the grass and green of the forest was black. There was not a star, moon, or lightning in the night sky; it was darkened like everything else. But the strangest part of all, was in place of a moon there was the Eye of Kalcron. It was the color of blood, bright red like the mythological dragon.  Dylan and Asher held it’s blood red gaze, it seemed to follow them wherever they went.
Shivering they realized this place was oddly quiet; both of them have never been in a world where there was no thunder roaring in the skies. ‘’Where’s Kalcron?” Asher asked, gazing around for the sorcerer in armor like a knight. For a few moments Asher stumbled over the rocks, his eyes couldn’t adapt to the darkness.

‘’I see you’ve entered my world.’’ Kalcron appeared, his glowing eyes matched the one in the sky. Everything except for his eyes was concealed by his mask, very few knew what he really looked like. ‘’King Ryleigh sent us here.’’ Dylan explained. ‘’I don’t know who you are.’’ Kalcron rasped. He gazed up at the red eye, clenching his fists, he withdrew mana from it. ‘’Look sorcerer, if you are to trade, i don’t make deals.’’ … ‘’We’re just here to gain knowledge.’’ Dylan assured…

‘’What many don’t know about me, is i am the keeper of everyone's secrets, Dylan, it is time i reveal your secret.’’

He stood there, puzzled for a moment. Knowing that Kalcron would reveal his secrets, right here, right now, in front of Asher.

’Dylan, tell Asher the truth about how you got your powers, you made a deal with an evil entity.’’
