Suddenly hoards of ghouls began to encircle them. ‘’Run Asher!’’ Dylan shouted. ‘’Tonight they will not listen to the commands of a sorcerer!’’ … ‘’Rawwwww!’’ The undead screeched, and grabbed Asher’s torso. ‘’Let go!’’ Dylan yelled, slicing him with his sword. Ghoul blood soaked into Asher’s fur. The two of them continued to flee to their lighthouse. Locking the door and barricading it with a bookshelf. ‘’What is the Day of the Undead?” Asher asked. ‘’It’s a night where all the ghouls come out of their hiding places, and roam the entire planet, it only lasts for a day though.’’ … Dylan then ascended the endless row of stairs, looking out the top window at all the ghouls roaming about. He sounded the alarm with flashing lights, and that sent them running away.
‘’Can we go now?” Asher pleaded, he watched as they all ran off. Dylan told him they were forbidden to go anywhere on this night; that is unless Asher wanted to get eaten by ghouls. Asher curled up in a ball, feeling much distress and pain. He wasn’t sure if he was more shocked that Gabriel killed his family, or that fact that Regan wasn’t his real mom. He completely forgot about Deaser being a cyborg.
‘’It’s ok Asher,’’ Dylan assured. ‘’You always have me, i’ll always be here for you.’’ He gave the Boltcat a big hug, squeezing him. ‘’We’re a team Asher, remember?” … ‘’Of course I do.’’ Asher replied, caressing his nose against Dylan’s gauntlet. He noticed the sorcerer had a scar of his right hand, a deep gash from something- perhaps a battle. Dylan then went to bed, and Asher stayed curled in a spot near the window. That night he cried himself to sleep

The next morning the first thing they did was travel to Asher’s old tribe; Boltcat’s lived in what was called Tundras. (Glowing purple underground cave-like crevices, that contained honeycomb-like holes where female Boltcats stored their eggs) Fueled by anger, Asher rushed to his old Tundra. Alcon, the guard was shocked to see Asher. ‘’You’ve retuned, we’ve been so lonely without you.’’ Asher thrust his muzzle towards Alcon. ‘’I need to speak to Gabriel!” He growled. Asher slithered into the crevice in the ground, just like he did during his Boltkittenhood. Gabriel was in a meeting with the other Boltcats. ‘’We need to speak!’’ Asher growled. Dylan hears Asher’s echo from in the cave; he was far too big to come down there. Asher knew a Tundra was no place to battle, for it was far too small. Gabriel objected to talking to Asher, both of them stepped out of the Tundra. Asher flashed a look of concern at Dylan…

‘’Gabriel!’’ Asher growled. ‘’It was you who killed Blaze and Roxanna!’’ … Gabriel stood there shocked for a moment, he complely defending himself. ‘’I had too!’’ His tail lashed from side to side. Asher flung himself at Gabriel, sinking his teeth into his shoulder blade. ‘’Noooo!’’ Alcron was about to defend his leader. Dylan, knowing the other Boltcats would intervene, he began to fight them. Asher and Gabriel tumbled into a ball, hissing and spitting. Asher pinned Gabriel to the ground and lashed his forehead. So far he was winning. ‘’Your Dad, he disobeyed my orders!’’ He growled. ‘’Die!’’ Asher attempted to claw his throat. Suddenly Gabriel hurled his large body at Asher, pinning him to the grass. ‘’Noooooo! Asher!’’ Dylan intervened, hurling balls of magick at the larger Boltcat. Asher lunged towards him, clawing his throat. ‘’He’s dead.’’ Asher panted, noticing he was bleeding himself. Suddenly another Boltcat emerged from the Tundra.

‘’You killed our leader, you must die.’
