25. Stay for a week: Day one🦋

Brooklyn's POV:
Same day/afternoon time

I got into the shower the ease me nerves. Having one of the most wanted villains in Japan in your house is no joke! But I'm a bit more calm since I've decided I'm going to text Hana, who is Kyo's babysitter when I'm away doing long missions. I'll take him to her for the week.

My bathroom filled with steam from the hot water that was running trails all over my body. I grab my soap, making sure there's enough in my hands for my body. I hum lyrics to a random song that comes to mind while scrubbing my whole body with soap.

A sense of peace quickly gets stripped from me when I hear a bang behind me.

Omg...I knew those shower monsters were real!!

Relief drowns me when I realize it's just a bottle of soap I dropped by accident. As I bend over to pick it up my hair gets in my face and even soap gets in my eye. Way to ruin a good shower..!

"Ugh.." I groan as a try to rinse the soap that's stinging in my eyes. I run my fingers through my locks of hair after getting it out of my hair.

"Ehem."

...

My heart dropped at the sound of someone clearing there throat right next to me.

My eyes widen as I see a tall, blurry, male figure standing outside my shower. It's blurry because of how much steam is in the bathroom.

"Excuse me..?"

Was the only thing I could let out when this "get the fuck out of my bathroom" got stuck in my throat. It had to be Dabi...

No.

I knew it was Dabi. I'd recognize that tall, fit, scarred figure anywhere..

"Don't be a baby," The stitched man who was nothing but a blurry figure to me right now spoke with arrogance. "I just came in here to let ya know that Shigaraki made it official that we aren't going to be doing anymore missions for a week and some change."

I took a breath out that I didn't realize I was holding in. I never feared any villain, especially not men with the intention to intimidate me. But something about Dabi that knows how to catch me off guard...like he knows me already.

As if he doesn't have to learn me like people learn their peers before that person becomes their Bestfriend.

"Lucky you.." My shaky voice echoed slightly over the loud noise of the water running.

"Yeah...guess I should thank ya, huh? Givin' me a place to crash while we're on a mini break from the league." His deep raspy voice made me uneasy.

He stood tall behind the curtain...all one of us needed to do was move this curtain to the side and we'd be face to face. My wet naked body bare for his eyes to take in.

"That's all you needed to tell me.?" I question, turning the water off so maybe he'd take the hint that I'm done showering so he could leave.

You want him to leave?

Well...I don't know, I think maybe I want—

"Yeah thats all, drunky." The male figure soon then exited my bathroom, leaving me with a feeling of worry.

I can't help but wonder if he's getting something out of this besides having a place to stay. What if he has a plan of his own?

Shit, I don't really wanna know what it is if he has one..

Time skip

"Thank you, Hana!" I beam a big smile of gratitude at the blue haired girl. I guess it didn't go as expected, me dropping off Kyo at her place, but I wanted him out of here as fast as I could! I love my dog...but I will take no chances with him near Dabi.
