After Dabi was satisfied with what he had saw, we went back to the hideout. Surprisingly Hawks was no where to be found, probably off doing his hero duties.

I would have told Hawks to have me take one of the hero's place for today. Any hero that needed help doing a small capturing a villain task, just so I could get out and get some fresh air.

Although today I didn't want that. I was praying they didn't call me in to help a hero or to fill in a spot for a hero who was down.

All that stuff takes up most of my day. Normally I liked that, it made me feel useful, I wasn't bored all the time, and I had a lot of fun hiding in the shadows from people so no one found out I was doing a hero's work.

But I already had my mind set on what was going to take up most of my time today.

Literally.

I'm staring at it right now.

I stared Dabi down from across the room. I wasn't weird at this point, we did this at least once an hour if we were both in the room. Probably because Dabi was trying to creep me out and I was just fighting for dominance.

I needed to watch over him to make sure he wouldn't do anything or tell the other members what he saw.

But then again, I can't just stop him. He'll know somethings up and probably catch onto why I won't let him share our new discovery.

Still. Even if he did tell the league, I need to be with him when he does so I know what there going to do about it. I can't take my eyes off of him until the topic is brought up, this could ruin everything.

"You have staring problems." I said bluntly to annoy him. He kept staring for a while, then took a deep breath to speak.

"Why did you wanna turn back?" He asked with a unknown expression on his face.

"Huh?" I said to buy me some time. I needed to think of an answer and think of it fast.

"Don't play dumb, dollface." He said shaking his head. I was too caught up in my thoughts, trying to think of a lie to question the nickname. "Why don't you just spit it out?" He teased.

"I just got a little tired, and thought she wasn't up to any good. Happy?" I rolled my eyes. Was that really the lie I was going with?

"I think you know I don't believe, right?" Dabi asked with intimidated eyes, which made my heart stop. Have I messed everything up, not even a week into these missions?

"What's there not to believe? You don't think Hawks and I have already tried to uncover ways to defeat these useless heros? Even if she had led us to the hero's hideout, or her own home, or something like that, we wouldn't have gone anywhere. Heros are aware of attacks like that." I say, thinking he might just believe me.

"Hmm, is that a fact? Well, the least you could tell is if you know where she went." Dabi asked in a serious manner.

There's no point in hiding anything anymore. He is already on to me.

"Yeah, she went to repair her hero costume." I say not missing a beat. I needed to act like I was truly on there side with nothing to hide. "I've been in there before. There's not much, just an old lady with a bunch of tools to fix costumes. I don't think it'll do the league any good." I lied.

"Well, we could always try. Ya know, killing her could be a warning to all the hero's. It'll show em' just how far the league can go." He says a bit threatening. I don't stay silent. Whatever I say next could be used against me.

"Killing an old lady, huh?" I basically repeat his comment back to him. I shrug as if I could care less.

"Don't sweat it too much, Dollface." He says with a smirk.
