AURABELLA DIDN'T TRUST PEOPLE, especially after one of her so called human friends tried to shout to the whole town that she was a vampire.

Aurabella heard the whispers of her so called friends as they left her in the class room. The whispers of their chuckles and giggles as they talked about exposing her to everyone.

The fear ran up the vampires spine, through her blood as her head snapped towards the door before quickly walking outside it. Her two 'friends' were walking towards the lunch hall.

Something inside her snapped, the kind, sweet Aurabella had been pushed away when the two smirked back at her. The two waved at the vampire teasingly before turning to walk into the lunch hall.

Wrong move.

Aurabella sped over, grabbing the two and taking them to a secret room where no one would ever find or hear them. Her eyes were red with the dark veins under them.

The two girls were now visibly scared of the vampire. Aurabella could feel it, smell it, "Not so funny, now, huh?"

The first girl went to send a bite back but before she could, her body dropped to the floor after a loud snap of her neck. Aurabella stood behind the girl as she dropped with a smirk, "She was getting annoying anyway."

The second girl was in pure shock, fear all over her face as she looked at her dead friend's body. Her eyes trailed up Aurabella's body, realising she'd done something terribly wrong.

"What's wrong?" Aurabella said tauntingly while pouting mockingly, "You look like you've seen a ghost."

"Please, please, I-I'm sorry." The girl begged, making Aurabella smirk.

"Never. Ever, cross a vampire. Ever." Aurabella warned before the girl let out a blood curdling scream as the vampire ripped out her throat.

Aurabella pulled away when the girls body went limp, letting it drop to the floor. Aurabella's lips and chin were covered in blood. She ripped a part of the girls shirt off to clean her face before dropping it with the bodies.

Aurabella walked out of the secret room to find the empty hallway. She locked the door behind her and broke the key — the only key — before walking away like nothing ever happened.

But the only thing was, was that she was stronger and was more dangerous.

After that incident Aurabella became cold and didn't really like new people. She'd made sure never to tell anyone about what had happened that day. And never to tell anyone her secret.
