WHILE THE HOUSE WAS NICE AND CALM FOR a little while, a ring echoed through the house but Aurabella being Aurabella ignored it.

She didn't care for visitors, she didn't care for anyone actually but when she heard Elena speaking and her father talking to her, she couldn't be quicker getting downstairs.

"Elena? What— what are you doing here?" Aurabella asked, entering the living room.

"Just came to see Stefan." Elena shrugged, "I didn't know you had two Uncles."

"Yeah. Meet the annoying, bitchy one." Aurabella smiled which caused her getting a look from her father and an awkward silence from Elena.

"Hello, Stefan." Damon smirked and Elena turned to see the man she came to see.

"I'll be upstairs. See you later, Elena." Aurabella said, staring annoyed at her father before giving a small smile to Elena, "Say hi to your brother from me."

"Uh— will... do." Elena said in a confused tone as Aurabella walked away and upstairs.

Aurabella returned to her room, looking through her bookcase to find a new book to read. Her hearing traveled off and she heard Stefan and Damon talking.

"What kind of game are you playing, Damon?" Stefan asks his brother calmly.

"Guess you'll just have to wait and see, won't you?" Damon replied.

"You don't get it, do you?" Stefan asked.

"Get what?" Damon said.

"We have been lying to her since 1864, don't you get it, she will figure it out sometime." Stefan said through gritted teeth.

"No she won't, Aurabella doesn't know a thing, and she won't." Damon said, all the talking stopped.

Aurabella stood in her room, confusion running through her body, what were they talking about? What were they lying about? What didn't she know?

Aurabella knew that this was going to stick in her mind for a long time. She climbed into bed, her thoughts racing yet she knew fine well that she wasn't supposed to know anything, but she was going to make it her mission to figure out everything.
