Ivy Stewart
The plan was simple.
Ivy was going to finish filming at 1 o'clock, grab her things from the house she was renting just outside LA, and head straight to the airport to make it in time for her flight. She had been looking forward to this all week, counting down the hours until she could finally see Taylor again.
The two weeks Ivy spent with the crew working on the new movie were bittersweet. As excited as she was to star in another major role, something was missing. Or rather, someone.
They had been texting non-stop for the last two weeks, exchanging quick messages during breaks and having long conversations at night. It was challenging for Ivy to have the energy after spending all day on set and maintain a connection with the blonde woman who was exhausted and stressed preparing for the start of the tour.
But today was different. Today, Ivy would surprise Taylor before the first concert in Glendale, Arizona. She knew how much this tour meant to Taylor—months of preparation, rehearsals, and anticipation leading up to the big night. Ivy wanted to be there, to show her support and let Taylor know how much she cared.
But there was also a tiny voice reminding her that this wasn't going to be easy. Balancing a career in the spotlight and a relationship with a worldwide superstar singer meant a lot of time apart, and as much as Ivy wanted to be optimistic, the reality of it was starting to weigh on her.
Still, she shook off the doubts as she wrapped up her final scene for the day, exchanging quick goodbyes with the crew. She couldn't wait to see Taylor, to hold her close and feel, even if just for a moment, that everything was exactly as it should be.
She just had to make it to the airport on time.

It wasn't as easy as she expected it to be.
Ignoring Taylor's persistent messages was hard. Ivy felt so guilty when she finally boarded the plane, knowing Taylor was probably wondering why she had suddenly gone quiet. Just before switching her phone to airplane mode, she quickly texted Taylor, saying that she had to return to the set to reshoot a scene. But it had to be that way to complete the surprise successfully.
