From the sky, Izuku looked through the walls of the apartment building as the supposed gang leader questioned the shaken gang member. The crowd around them had an array of emotions from anger and indignation to some trepidation and fear. He stopped looking at the thugs and looked at each room to see what he found. Most were furnished with basic furniture. A bed, some containers, and a television. Other rooms were filled with what Izuku could guess were drugs of some kind. He was taught to recognize some narcotics but with the world of quirks, there could be countless drugs. Another room had its wall broken down to its neighboring room to make it larger and it had a large bed.

Next to the bed was a woman chained to the wall. Izuku narrowed his eyes in anger at seeing someone in such a state. She appeared to be crying but other than that she looked unharmed. Her clothes were a bit disheveled but no obvious sign of assault. Seeing the whole gang still on the lower floors, Izuku moved to the window belonging to the room. He wasn't careful as he pried the frame off and tossed the remains inside. The woman jerked up at the noise and stared at him with wide desperate eyes. She was a few years older than him if he had to guess.

She began pleading immediately. "Please! Please get me out of here, I don't..." She began to sob as she trailed off.

Izuku moved quickly and easily broke the chains off her wrist. She sobbed in relief and rubbed her reddened wrists. "Let's go, I still have to take care of the rest of them."

"What!? You can't fight them! There are at least a hundred of them and they have powerful people among them." The woman said shocked.

Izuku smiled at her worry for him, it felt nice. "I'll be okay, let's get you somewhere safe." He picked up in a princess carry and floated out the window. She held on tight as they flew out of the tall apartment. He set her down a few streets away. "I'll be back in a moment."

She grabbed his hand to stop him. "What are you going to do? You're not a hero." She stated now that she was too occupied being free to notice his casual clothes. "Are...are you going to kill them?" She asked with a shaken voice.

"Yes," Izuku said plainly, there was no need to lie.

She bit her lip and looked at him. "I won't lie and say they aren't terrible people. If you didn't get me out of there..." She choked back a sob and continued. "But they are still people."

Izuku nodded in agreement. "Yes, they are. But they will bring nothing but suffering to the world, in what world would they help? They are a plague that needs to be eradicated, the first of many. I will make sure innocent people will never have to worry about being kidnapped." He motioned to her. "Or if the streets are safe. I will make criminals fear doing heinous things that people like you will never have anything to worry about again."

The young woman looked into the glowing green eyes of the boy before her and she saw a conviction that made her fear him slightly and want to follow him. She understood what he was saying but she didn't have the type of strength to do the things he will do. She took his hand in both of hers and bowed her head in thanks. "I won't forget this, thank you." With that, she let his hand go and he floated away with a smile that reached his toxic green eyes.

Izuku flew off to hover above the apartment once again. Looking inside, he saw it was like a shaken beehive. Gangsters were running to their rooms and putting on equipment. Bulletproof vests, motorcycle helmets, or equipping weapons of many kinds. He already scanned the whole building for innocents and began to tear out the rot in the neighborhood.

His eyes burned red as lasers shot down into the building's roof and penetrated the wall to hit a man with a chain wrapped around his arm. He was lucky with his first shot as he missed the second and third time. That was the first time he was using his laser eyes accurately but it was working. It seared a hole straight through his chest and he fell limp. Over and over again, Izuku aimed precision shots to kill each criminal, many missed to his chagrin. Once the screaming began, they began to search for the cause and found their dead companions. Panic set in when they couldn't fight what they couldn't see and chaos ramped up. This also caused Izuku to miss more often when they began to run erratically. Most of them began to make their way outside, their numbers diminished greatly.
