"Pinkie, what're you doing?" a light orange girl with white freckles and southern accent asked as she tapped on Pinkie's shoulder, to get her attention.

"Helping a fellow party planner." Pinkie replied with a smile. "Why do you ask, Applejack?"

"He goes to Crystal Prep." Applejack said as she pointed at the uniform, Cheese was wearing.

"So?" Pinkie asked with a shrug, as Cheese just stood there and watched the exchange.

                       "They're the enemy." Applejack replied.

Pinkie shook her head in confusion. "Cheese isn't my enemy, he's my friend." She then turned to Cheese. "Right?"

"Of course." Cheese quickly replied while trying to avoid the glare coming from the light green eyes of Applejack.

"See?" Pinkie asked with her arms outstretched.

"Just be careful, cuz." Applejack warned as a tall really light pink lady stood on stage and tapped the microphone in front of her, filling the gym with an annoying sound.

"Welcome, Crystal Prep, once again." the lady said as everyone turned their attention to her. "Principal Cinch and I will announcing those who are participating in the triathlon part of the Friendship Games."

"Indeed, Principal Celestia." Cinch agreed as she joined Celestia on stage. "You may start."

Celestia shrugged. "Alright. The two skating for Canterlot High are Rarity and Pinkie Pie."

An white girl walked up to and on the stage, her curled purple hair following as she did so. Pinkie just skipped to the stage before leaping onto it and standing next to her team mate. The white girl glared at Pinkie for it.

Cinch cleared her throat. "Yes, well. Skating for Crystal Prep, we have Lemon Zest and Cheese Sandwich."

A pink with green and yellow hair walked up to the stage. Once she was on stage, she started playing an air guitar until Cinch glared at her, making her stop.

Cheese slowly approached the stage, his hair still laying flat against his head. Once he got on stage, he shot Pinkie an apologetic smile. She smiled back.

"Pinkie, I'm sorry that we have to compete with each other." Cheese said, while he and Pinkie were standing just outside Canterlot High. Cheese's classmates were boarding the buses.

"It' ok." Pinkie assured as she stared into his dark green eyes. "You don't know me until today."

Cheese shook his head. "It feels like I've met you, before." He shrugged. "Maybe I'm just being dumb."

"No. I get whatcha mean." Pinkie said, still staring into his eyes. "I feel it, too."

"That's so strange." Cheese said as Soarin approached. "What is it, Soarin?"

"We gotta go." Soarin replied as he motioned towards the bus.

"Alright." Cheese said as he pulled out his phone. "Can we exchange numbers real quick?"

"Of course we can, silly." Pinkie exclaimed as she pulled her phone out of her hair before swapping it with Cheese's. She put her number in Cheese's phone before giving it back.

"Great, thanks." Cheese said as he started to walk towards the bus.

"Cheese!" Pinkie called, which caused him to stop dead in his tracks and turn around.

                                              "What?" Cheese called back, curiously.

"Make sure, you do what I'll told you." Pinkie replied.

Cheese nodded as he gave her a salute. "Will do, Miss Pie."

Pinkie smiled as she watched him and Soarin get on the bus.

The bus then drove out of sight.
