The next day, Pinkie was waiting eagerly for the Crystal Prep bus to arrive at Canterlot High. "Ooh, hurry up, bus." she said, bouncing up and down.

"Pinkie, chill." a light blue girl said as she blew some of her rainbow colored hair out of her eyes. "I mean I can't wait for the games but ya don't see bouncing."

"Dashie, that's not why I'm bouncing." Pinkie said. "I'm bouncing because I can't to see my friend."

The girl's eyes widened. "You're friends with a Shadow Bolt?"

Pinkie nodded as she stopped bouncing and their other friends approached.

"She's telling the truth, Rainbow." Applejack said. "I met 'em."

"Oh, it's a boy." Rarity teased as Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"And I thought Twilight was the only nice one from there." an orange girl said as she flicked her fiery hair.

"Guys, stop it." Pinkie said. "It's not like that. He's just a fellow party planner that I haven't seen since childhood."

"Uh, huh. Sure." Rarity said as the Crystal Prep bus pulled up.

"He's here." Pinkie squealed as she ran towards it.

After almost everyone got off the bus while glaring at Pinkie, Cheese got off.

"Hi, Cheesie." Pinkie said as she hugged him.

He winced from the pain he was in.

Pinkie noticed and let go. "Oh, no. Did I hurt you? Sometimes I hug to hard."

Cheese shook his head, which made him wince, again. "My dad and I got into an argument after I got off the phone with you." He took a deep breath and let it out before he continued. "Which ended with him slapping me in the face."

"Oh, I see it, now." Pinkie said as she looked closely at his face. "That looks painful."

"Trust me, it is." Cheese agreed as Pinkie pulled an ice pack out of her hair and gave to him. "Thanks."

"No problem." Pinkie said with a smile. "Still straight."

"I know." Cheese replied. "I can't get it to bounce back."

"Hmm." Pinkie mused. "Maybe this'll help." She then leaned up against him, so that his chin rested on her hair.

It was soft and smelled like cotton candy. Cheese smiled and closed his eyes, enjoying the moment.

For a while it seemed like he and Pinkie were the only ones there. Cheese then heard a sound, he didn't expect to hear. It sounded like someone was blowing up a balloon.

He opened his eyes, once more and noticed six girls staring at him and Pinkie. The white one known as Rarity had a knowingly smile on her face.

Cheese blushed and pulled his head out of Pinkie's hair, much to her confusion.

"What's wrong?" Pinkie asked as she looked up at him.

"People are staring at us." Cheese replied as he gestured to the six girls watching them.

Pinkie looked in the direction he had indicated. "Those are my friends."

"Yeah, but still." Cheese said, backing away from her. "I should probably join up with my classmates."

"Wait, Cheesie." Pinkie called but it was too late, he already left. She smiled as she thought. He'll figure it out.
