"Cheesie, what's up?" Pinkie asked as she soon as she answered the phone.

Cheese's eyes widened at the fact she gave him a nickname. "Pinkie, my mom just informed me that yes, we've met before."

"Really?" Pinkie asked in disbelief. "Details, please."

"Alright." Cheese replied. "Basically, we met as kids at your family's farm and you taught me how to be a party planner."

"Wait, I remember now. You called me, cute." Pinkie said.

                              Cheese didn't respond.

                               "Cheesie, you there?" Pinkie asked.

He shook himself. "Yeah, I'm here."

"Oh, good." Pinkie said, relieved. "Anywhoozle, how come you didn't remember?"

"My dad forced me to forget." Cheese replied. "That's probably why I've been unhappy for so long."

"Hmm." Pinkie mused. "Did you do those things I told you to?"

"Yes." Cheese replied. "My hair's still straight, though."

                                                  "That's strange." Pinkie commented.

"I suppose." Cheese agreed with a shrug. "How do I get my hair to not be straight?"

"Think of something that makes you happy." Pinkie replied.

"Um, my accordion and you." Cheese said.

"Focus on those things." Pinkie suggested.

Cheese did as he was told. However, nothing happened. "It didn't work. I hope I'm not to far gone."

"You can't be, ya just can't." Pinkie cried. "I refuse to believe it."

"Calm down, Pinkie." Cheese said, in a soft tone. "Maybe when I see you, again it'll bounce back."

                                                   Pinkie sniffled. "I hope so."

"I gotta go, Pinkie." Cheese said. "Don't worry so much. I know you won't give up on me."

"You're right, I won't." Pinkie agreed. "I'm gonna hang up, now. See you tomorrow, Cheesie."

Cheese smiled. "Until tomorrow, Pinkie." He then hung up as someone banged on his door. "Uh, oh. Dad's bad about something." He walked over to his door and opened it.

"We need to have a talk, young man." Haggard said in a serious tone. "Come with me."

Cheese let out a heavy sigh as he followed his father.

                                                              ~Time Skip~

"You found her, again. Didn't you?" Haggard asked, curiously.

Cheese didn't respond, all he did was stare at the wall.

"Didn't you?" Haggard repeated, only louder.

Cheese looked his father dead in the eyes. "So what if I did? I won't let you force me to forget her, again."

"She corrupted you." Haggard snapped. "So, I tried to undo it."

"How dare you say such a thing?" Cheese snapped back. "She made me better. I was happy before you forced to forget her. Ya wanna know something? You almost made me lose my emotions and powers, permantly. And she's trying so hard to get back to how I was before."

Haggard slapped Cheese in the face. "Don't you dare, disrespect me!"

"It was worth it." Cheese said in between coughs.

"No dinner, tonight." Haggard said. "Now go before I make forget her, again."

Cheese ran to his room as tears formed in his eyes. "Pinkie, help me."
