Welcome to Unchained - a SasuSaku asylum-themed story!
First of all, thanks to all of you who've been reading Queen of Hearts and Bulletproof - my other two books in the SasuSaku Crime Series. <3 I read every comment and notice every vote, and they all mean a lot.
This is the third story in the series, but will not share the plot with either QofH or Bulletproof. The inspiration behind this came from Silence of the Lambs (the dynamics between Hannibal Lecter and Clarice) as well as some aspects of Joker/Harley Quinn.
One thing to note: compared to my last two stories, this one will be more violent and maybe overall a bit more bold. Please keep in mind that I don't mean to normalize or romanticize criminals or murderers in any way. I just want to write a homage to the questionable tropes I was super into when I was younger lol, like obsession, stalking, etc. I think I put in a lot of effort not to cross some boundaries in my other stories, but I can't promise the same thing here. Therefore, please read at your own discretion to avoid discomfort. I will do my best to keep things tactful either way, but this is a Harley/Joker-inspired dynamic, after all. ;)
Consider this an announcement/teaser (and a way for me to commit to this story lol) for Unchained. The chapters will start coming out sometime soon (maybe a week? idk), and will be dropping parallel to Queen of Hearts. Updates will be slower (maybe once a week or so) in the beginning since I'll be prioritizing QofH until it's finished. Afterward, chapters will be released around twice a week as usual. Hopefully you guys will follow along with both stories!
I'm beyond excited for this story (so excited that I couldn't wait till QofH was over... I wanna start this asap). As always, stay tuned and enjoy!!!
