"How long?" Reef asked sternly.

Every single living victor from District 4 had convened in an unused conference room not even an hour after Carolina and Finnick caught Fletch and Marina in a compromising position. Reef, Annie, Finnick, and Carolina were all sitting on one side of the table, staring down the couple.

Marina was visibly anxious, sitting rigidly on the edge of her chair, while Fletch had his arm loosely resting on the back of her seat.

"About 5 years after his games," Marina said quietly.

Reef spit out his drink as Carolina and Annie gasped loudly. Finnick's jaw fell to the floor, and he immediately jumped out of his chair.

"12 YEARS?" Finnick yelled.

"On and off," Marina explained. "We went through a bit of a rough patch after your games."

"Yeah," Fletch nodded. "Mari here wasn't ready for kids, and you being around all the time didn't help much. Not to say I didn't want you around!"

"I'm still insulted," Finnick scoffed.

He slowly sat back down, glaring at Fletch as he did so.

"And you told no one?" Reef's brows were furrowed in confusion. "How did you manage that?"

"We're not idiots," Marina said. She turned to Finnick and Carolina with wide eyes. "Not that you two are idiots. Lina, you are actually one of the smartest people I know. Academically."

"And Finnick, you're pretty." Marina elbowed Fletch in the side at his words, and the man cleared his throat and tried again. "I mean, you're smart, too."

Though, his statement did not come across as genuine.

"We just kept our distance whenever we were in the Capitol," Marina continued. "And waited until you all were asleep to... do things."

"Hold on, you guys did things in your house?" Carolina asked.

"Yeah," Fletch nodded. "You know, just because we're not as young as you and Finn or Annie and Johanna doesn't mean that we don't–"

"We don't need to know that!" Annie yelled.

"That is not why I asked!" Carolina screeched. Fletch burst out in laughter at the women's reactions. "I mean, there are cameras all over our houses, meaning you let PRESIDENT SNOW know about your relationship and NOT US?"

"I guess that's right," Marina shrugged.

"You're serious?" Reef shouted. "That white-scaled snake knew, and we didn't?"

"Well, he never said anything," Fletch said. "And you know Finnick."

"Why is everyone being so rude to me today!" Finnick yelled.

Carolina sighed and started rubbing his back consolingly. Finnick looked at Carolina with an irritated expression, but his eyes softened when she nodded slowly.

"You have your moments," she whispered.

"We also lasted 12 years without getting caught by not doing stuff like that in front of people," Fletch said, gesturing to Carolina and Finnick.

"Well, we didn't exactly not get caught," Marina said slowly.

Reef sat up slightly and his mouth fell open.

"Who?"

Marina leaned back slightly at Reef's hard tone, and Fletch shied away from Reef as well, looking like he was not going to help her.

"Mags..."

"MAGS?" Reef shouted. "YOU TOLD MAGS AND NOT ME?"

"We didn't necessarily tell her..."
