In mother Russia, on a snowy night, two masked women in high-tech suits climb up a rope to get on top of a building. Once on top, they jog across it till they reach the edge and look at a museum up ahead. That is their target. The woman in front shoots a grappling hook at the roof of the museum so she and her companion can ride the line down. Once they land, the same woman uses a laser cutter to break open the window quietly and slide down another rope. They run through the building till they find the room with a house with chicken legs and a creepy witch. Velma: "Jinkies. That is one crazy witch." Yep, that woman is Velma and the other one with her is Marcy. They push a button to move their masks up and show their faces before Velma speaks to someone on her wrist communicator. "Eagle one, we're in. Marcy and I are in front of the Baba Yaga exhibit. Entering now."

After she says this and they start climbing the stairs, the guard shows up. Guard: "Who's there. Show yourselves." He looks around with a flashlight and walks past Velma and Marcy, who quickly disguised themselves as Russian dancers on display when they heard his voice. As soon as he walked by, Velma dragged Marcy out of the room and got back in contact with the person she didn't expect to ally herself with. Velma: "Eagle one, we couldn't get in Baba Yaga's house. The guard showed up."

Mr. E: "Unfortunate. Time for plan B. Buy the exhibit and ship it to Crystal Cove." Back with the guard, he looks at the house then at the witch before turning around to leave. But he stops when the sound of laughter is heard. He turns around and shines his flashlight at the witch again to see it still stationary, but suddenly turns her head towards him with glowing eyes. The guard gasps in fear as he watches the witch suddenly fly towards him while still laughing. She picks him up which causes him to drop his flashlight, casting a shadow of the witch lifting the guard in the air as he screams.

One day at Crystal Cove High, the gang returns to Crystal Cove High after all this time. Velma and Marcy are already inside, though they don't know Marcy is there. Marcy: "Did you ask them yet, V?" Velma: "Not yet, but I'm going to. Don't worry, Marcy. I think it's a great idea." "Cool. And thanks for calling me Marcy. I always hated that nickname." "Well, to be fair, you don't really smell like hot dog water much anymore." Fred and the others then walk in the school past them. Shaggy: "Like, here we are, guys, back at Crystal Cove High." Fred: "It feels so strange to be back. Do you think anyone will remember us." Nakala: "Who wouldn't." Ethan: "Well, look who's back, the mystery dorks." Fred is happy to see the duo and them, but he gets a soccer ball thrown at him and knocked down before he gets a chance to talk.

Fred: "Hey, Ethan. Hey, Gary. How's the team-- Oof!" The two look down at him as Velma joins the group. Ethan: "Well, let's see, we had to forfeit the championship when you disappeared resulting in both of us losing our scholarships, and thanks to you we're not going to college next year. Way to ensure our future ignorance and failure, Fred." The two then walk away. Fred: "Looks like nothing has changed." Shaggy: "[gulps] Like, uh, one thing's changed." he says as he points to the stairs behind Fred. Everyone looks to see Daphne and Baylor walking down the steps and out of the school while looking at each other happily, completely ignoring them. Shaggy notices Nakala's face being a mix of not caring but also sad and decides to try and cheer him up.

Shaggy: "Like, don't worry, Nakala. I'm sure Daphne will be back with us eventually." Fred: "Yeah, and she'll want to be back with you again." Nakala: "Even if she'll join us again one day, those who aren't arrogant and are careful enough, like me, know that trust is hard to gain, easy to lose, and harder to regain...if it can." Velma: "Nakala's right. Daphne's not ready to come back, and she might never be, but we're severely out of balance without her. I think we all remember our recent Crybaby Clown fiasco." "We can do just fine without her. It's my fault for sticking with Shagster and Scoobster instead of at the lever where Fred said Daphne would be." Scooby: "I wish I could forget." Velma: "We all do. You know what we need?" Shaggy: "A big basket of comfort food?" Scooby: "Yeah, like deep-fried chili clam poppers."
