I woke up, in the middle of a big room, with an enormous headache, on a cold floor. I mumbled: "leave me alone, i just want to sleep..."

That of course, didn't happen. Instead, i heard a very hard voice say: "no, where not. YOU need to tell us what happened." What? I thought and i opened my eyes. But immediately afther opening them, i closed them again because of the way too bright light.

Yes, also for apollo kids, it is not nice to wake up with too much light. Pfff..All those stereotypes. Only half of them are true. Okay.. maybe a few more.

Then, i opened my eyes again and this time, i tried to keep them open.

I had no time to get used to the light, because the manly voice continued talking in a very stern tone: "we heard, or rather saw, that you used way to much power and we all need to know what happened. Because we know that it can be very dangerous for us when you use too much power. It could bring us all in great danger!"

My eyes were getting used to the light. What i saw suprised me. I was in a very big room, with very big chairs. On those very big chairsz that looked a lot like trones, were very big people. Like really big. I needed to look up to see them! A few of them had armor on, and a few others consisted of:A fishy looking man with a hawaiian shirt, a woman with a dress, someone with a fancy suit and someone with shoes with wings and a mailman coat.

Oh... wait. There are only 2 possibilities that i know of: or they are giants who want to celebrate a party, which is very unlikely, or it are the gods.

And if that are the gods, that means that the one who was talking was Zeus. And if that is Zeus, it means that i've done something very bad.

Then it came into my head. I immediately asked: "Is nico okay?!" That was maybe not the best thing to say, because Zeus answered angrily: " Do you really think i am going to answer that?! You brought us al in danger! Now, if you're not gonna tell i
Us what happened, you're gonna get killed much more painfully!!"

Then my dad, now looking like a combination of both his mortal and godly appearence, said to Zeus: " father, i don't think this is nescesary. And please don't kill my son." He talked calm, but on his face was panic. A lot of panic. Not what i expected, but he really changed a lot after his last mortal time.

He visited us a lot lately. Sometimes Hermes also came to visit. Sometimes we played games, but most of the times my dad visited, we are with just the 2 of us talking next to the lake. Not simple conversations, but more deepgoing ones, because we all have things to talk about.

Apollo, who is now really ashamed of his name, because of al the stories that connect to it, mostly talks about things in his life that he regrets and all of the deaths during his trials. Especially Jason. He still regrets leaving him behind....

And for me? I don't really tell much about my worries, because i don't want to disturb others with it, but if i tell something to my dad, it is normally about the things that gone wrong in the infirmary. For example, about operations that gone wrong.

I try to avoid talking about tartarus. It still gives me a lot of nightmares, actually...

My dad also talked a lot to my siblings and he helped me with caring for them too!

He secretly came to us when Zeus was having something else that he needed to do. Zeus noticed it once and then... wel, i didn't knew what happened after, but he came again, so probably nothing too bad.

Speaking about not so bad things, the situation i was in now was really bad. It looked like i was going to die. And trust me, i am not ready to meet Nico's dad yet. And especially not in that kind of circumstances.

I started to explain what happened, because i didn't had much choise. Well, i tried to. It is not easy to talk to mr. Lightning god without making him angry. " I.. i... Nico was ill, and i tried to heal him.. And... That was it." I chose not to tell him that i was the one who made nico ill.

Zeus face showed a displeased look. " was that all? Well then i can kill you, i guess." He said. " Wait!" I said. "Wait! What will happen to my siblings, who will take care of them?! And, who's gonna help with Nico's sircumstances?!" I said, clearly panicking. Zeus said: "i will take care of that."

Then apollo spoke up: " Father, i think this is going a little too far... maybe you can just let him go. He didn't do it on purpose and nothing too bad happened. He learned his lesson and he wouldn't do it again, right?!"He said. I nodded.

Zeus just ignored it and liften his lightning bolt up, pointed it to me, and said: " any last words?" In a casual, but still amgry tone. "No, please lord Zeus! I will not do it again! I promise!" I closed my eyes.

This must be how mortals felt when they were killed by one of the gods. It was terrifying. I felt hopeless. I desperatily try to think of something that would help, but my mind went blank.

I was waiting with my eyes shut until the moment came that zeus killed me. Then i heard the sound of electricity hitting something. I expected to feel pain, or just to feel something, but i didn't. I slowly opened my eyes, afraid what i would see. When i opened my eyes, i saw something i never expected to see.

My dad, Apollo, was standing before me, his back towards me, and his arms stretched forward, with a kind of yellow shield before him. The shield was almost breaking.

He was protecting me from the lightning! It seemed to cost him a lot of energy, because he was breathing heavily. I said: "Dad!! What are you doing?! This will hurt you!!" On that moment, i felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around.

" Neeks, what are you doing here!" I said to Nico, who was standing behind me. He must have shadowtraveled, i thought. He looked a little tired, but he looked especially Worried.

Then i heard Apollo say: "Go! I will hold him off!!" And before i could reply, Nico dragged me into the darkness.
