Janet (34)
Toni (34)

Nobody's POV

One hand was on the steering wheel while the other held her wife's hand. Janet drove on the highway to a cabin in the woods. The couple decided to get away for a couple of days from their chaotic children. They have three children, two boys and one girl and they are all a couple of months to a year apart. Although they are older now, the chaos never stops. All they do is argue and drive their parents nuts.

The couple needed to be alone since they hadn't done so in a very long time. The cabin that they are going to is theirs that they built when they were teenagers. Before Toni and Janet were a couple, they were the best of friends and used to hang out every day. This cabin was their getaway spot being that Toni's parents were very religious and Janet's father was very abusive.

They would run there and camp out. Nobody ever knew where they were so there were a lot of missing person reports on them. Toni and Janet didn't care, they were safer far away from the people that hurt them.

Feeling the familiar turn, Toni woke up. She's been to this cabin so many times that she knows that they arrived even when she's asleep. Janet stopped the car and made sure that it was parked before getting out. She opened the door for Toni and she thanked her before getting out. Toni stretched and then let out a sigh.

"Tired much?"

"Yes." Janet chuckled. They left right after Toni came home from the studio. Janet had left earlier so she had time to rest. Toni looked up and gasped. "Baby you extended it!"

"Yes I did, we have all them children." Toni laughed. "I want to take them here one day." She smiled and kissed her lips.

"You're so sweet."

"Here's the keys, I'll get our bags while you go inside

"Here's the keys, I'll get our bags while you go inside."

"I can help you baby."

"I'm good love." She kissed Toni's nose and smiled.

"Okay." Toni turned and walked toward the cabin. She opened the door with the keys and gasped at the interior. Janet really changed this place up. She put the key in the dish and heard Janet behind her. She turned around and helped Janet with their luggage. "Baby, I love what you did."

"Thank you, baby, I'm glad that you love it." She closed the door and left their luggage by the door. The two of them did things around the house, turned on the water heater, gas, internet, etc. Soon it was time for dinner. Toni and Janet enjoyed each other's company while cooking dinner. After dinner, they settled on taking a walk to the dock.

They know the area very well so it's unlikely that they'll get lost. Toni held Janet's hand as they walked to the dock. They sat down at the edge, their feet dipping in the water.
