Another day at office

Jungkook's Cabin

Jungkook sat in his office chair, his expression dark, his brows furrowed in anger.
He was on the phone, his voice low and dangerous, barely containing his rage.
His knuckles were white as he gripped the phone tightly.

"What do you mean it was attacked?"

he hissed into the receiver, his tone deadly calm.

"I told you to keep a watch, didn't I? How could you let them get so close?"

His man on the other end of the line stammered, trying to explain, but Jungkook's patience was wearing thin. His jaw clenched tightly, his eyes burning with fury.

"I don't want your excuses,"

he snapped. "Find out who did this and deal with it. Now."

He ended the call with a sharp click, his hand still gripping the phone so hard it felt like he might break it.
His mind raced with thoughts of retaliation, revenge, and damage control.

The betrayal from his rival was a blow he couldn't afford to ignore.
He could feel the anger boiling in his veins.

Just then, the door to his office opened, and YN walked in, unaware of the storm brewing in the room.
She held a file in her hands, her steps careful as she approached his desk.

"Sir, I have the report you asked for-"

she began, her voice gentle, but the words seemed to get lost in the tension that filled the room.

Jungkook's eyes snapped up to her, still burning with the residual anger from the call.

He stood up abruptly, the chair screeching against the floor.

His frustration and fury found a new outlet as he stormed toward her, his movements quick and intimidating.

"What do you want now?"

he growled, his voice rough, his anger misdirected.

"Can't you see I'm busy? Do you think this is the time to come in with your stupid files?"

She flinched at his harsh tone, her eyes widening.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't know-"

He didn't let her finish. In a flash, he grabbed her arm and pushed her back

against the wall. His face was inches from hers, his breath hot and his eyes blazing with fury.

"Do you ever think before you walk into someone's office?"

he shouted, his voice echoing off the walls.

"Do you have any idea what you've just interrupted?"

YN's heart pounded in her chest, her eyes wide with shock and fear.

She could feel the sting of tears forming in her eyes, but she blinked them away, trying to maintain her composure.

His anger was so intense, so raw, that she felt her breath hitch in her throat.

As soon as he saw her tears, the realization of what he'd done hit him like a punch to the gut.

He released her immediately, stepping back as if he'd been burned.

His hands dropped to his sides, and his anger seemed to evaporate in an instant, replaced by regret.

He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. his voice softer, almost unsure.
