SHE plays the long game. She thrives in silence, letting others underestimate her until she strikes. And when she does, there's no room for recovery.

Morning - Y/N's Apartment

The morning sun spilled through the curtains, casting soft golden hues across the room.

Y/N stood before the mirror, tying the loose ends of her black blazer.

Her hair, sleek and straight, was pulled into a low ponytail with a few strands framing her masked face.

The minimal makeup and sharp spectacles gave her a sophisticated edge-professional, distant, untouchable.

As she slipped on her watch, there was a strange calm about her, but beneath it, a storm churned quietly.

Today wasn't just another day.

Today... she would step back into the very world she thought she left behind.

With one last glance at the reflection staring back at her, Y/N adjusted her collar and stepped out the door.

Jeon Corporations - Jungkook's Office

The heavy oak doors creaked open, and Taeyang stepped inside with a file clutched tightly in his hand.

His face held a rare seriousness, one that wasn't easy to shake.

Jungkook sat behind his large desk, eyes fixed on the skyline beyond the glass wall, but his mind wasn't on the view.

"I assume you have something to say,"

Jungkook said without turning.

Taeyang hesitated for a moment before placing the file down.

His voice dropped low.

"You were right."

Jungkook's hand froze mid-air.

Slowly, he turned his chair to face Taeyang, his dark eyes narrowing with an intensity that could break a man's resolve.

"What did you find?"

Taeyang met his gaze head-on.

"She's not just Y/N... she's Jeon Y/N."

Silence.

Jungkook's grip on the armrest tightened.

The weight of the words hung heavy in the room.

"She's been hiding in plain sight,"

Taeyang continued.

"No one caught on because she's been keeping a low profile. But the records... they match perfectly. She never changed her identity-just kept it buried under the surface."

Jungkook leaned back in his chair, his face unreadable, but the flicker of something dangerous lingered in his eyes.

"She knew,"

he muttered under his breath, almost to himself.

"She knew who I was all along."

"She's been watching,"

Taeyang added.

"Playing the part. But not once did she step forward until now."

Jungkook's lips twitched into something that wasn't quite a smile.

"Do you want me to bring her in?"

Taeyang asked carefully.

"No,"
