On a summer night that had already transitioned into the early hours of the morning, even the once-incessant chirping of cicadas outside had come to a halt. Contrary to the usual quiet atmosphere, the police station was crowded with people.

The ventilation fan emitted a low, continuous sound, while the air nonetheless retained the lingering scent of various pheromones.

The Omega, blessed with long legs, sat confidently on the chair, crossing both knees with poise. Despite being surrounded by three Alpha police officers, the Omega maintained a remarkable sense of calm and composure.

On the opposite side, another AO couple, who were being confronted by the police officers as well, displayed much more unpleasant expressions on their faces.

Nie Zihang raised his chin, arching an eyebrow, as he looked at the couple across from him. A slightly smug smile played on his lips.

The Alpha stood up, clenched his fists tightly, and lunged straight towards him.

The tall and formidable Alpha police officers, who were in close proximity, swiftly intercepted the altercation before it could escalate further. In the midst of this, Nie Zihang remained remarkably composed and unfazed; not even a single strand of his hair was out of place.

“What do you think you are doing? Can you not conduct yourself appropriately, especially after being brought into the police station?”

A chilling voice resonated from outside, laced with a tinge of anger.

Then, a slender and tall man pushed open the door and strode into the room, clutching a file folder in his hands.

The badge on the man’s shoulder distinguished him from the police officers in the room. His refined demeanour and impeccable manners were evident, yet his gaze carried a cold and distant aura.

Nie Zihang’s nostrils twitched as he disdainfully shifted his gaze away.

Tsk, another disgusting Alpha.

“Nie Zihang, come here,” the man said.

The cold voice resonated overhead.

Nie Zihang glanced upwards and saw the person in the police uniform, who was staring at him with lips tightly pursed.

Despite being an Alpha and a police officer, this individual possessed delicate facial features reminiscent of egg whites. A small brown mole adorned the corner of his eye, further enhancing the femininity of his already refined appearance.

Based solely on his appearance, he indeed did not possess the typical characteristics associated with an Alpha.

Nie Zihang’s gaze shifted downward; his eyes were scanning the badge on the man’s chest.

Badge number: 39520

Yu Jingxuan

Hmm, the name does possess a sense of grandeur and majesty.

“What are you staring at? Come over here and make a statement.”

Seeing him not moving, Yu Jingxuan could not help but urge him, his voice sounding much softer than before.

After speaking, Yu Jingxuan cast a cold glance at the Alpha, who had caused the disturbance earlier, his tone brimming with iciness. “Behave yourself. Did you happen to notice the handcuffs in the corner? If sitting is too tiresome for you, feel free to squat over there.”

Unexpectedly, the Alpha, who had exuded fierceness and menace moments ago, appeared surprisingly composed. With a sorrowful expression, his gaze was fixed on Yu Jingxuan, as if he had something to convey.
