The two girls just finished math class, and Cairo had managed to keep cool for the rest of the half an hour. It took practically everything she had to not grab Cc by the collar and shake her demanding she explain why Wednesday said they were both experiencing spider-like behavior.

As soon as they walked out of the door Cairo yanked Cc down the hall and out to the track field. Furry was burning through her at this rate. How could Cc not tell her about something THIS big??

"CALLIE CIARA WALKER," the brunette began getting right in CC's face. "CARE TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHY MY COUSIN JUST TOLD ME YOU'RE EXPERIENCING THIS WEIRD ASS SPIDER SHIT??"

Immediately Cc gulped. Cairo was already intimidating enough, but now that her biggest secret was now out of the bag, she had a LOT of explaining to do. Then again why would Wednesday even bring that up if it didn't have to do with Cairo herself? Was she also experiencing these weird behaviors?

"OKAY OKAY JUST PLEASE STOP YELLING AT ME-"

Cc raised her hands in a placating gesture, trying to calm the storm that was Cairo. To Cc's dismay, Cairo did not calm down. The fury was still coursing through her veins as she awaited the blonde's explanation. She was never one to get angry often, but oh when she did there was no stopping it.

"First- are you experiencing it too??" Cc questioned, giving the brunette a genuine look of confusion.

"It just started, when I was in the bathroom during math. Now care to explain to me why you didn't tell me about this?" Cc took a deep breath. She needed to collect her thoughts quickly before Cairo's anger escalated even further.

"Okay, listen," Cc started, taking a deep breath. "I didn't want to freak you out. I thought, maybe, it was just me. And perhaps I thought that it would just I don't know...go away." She paused, "but it hasn't. It's been a whole week and the stuff is still happening."

Cairo's eyes softened a fraction, enough to show she was listening, albeit reluctantly. "You should have told me," she finally said, her tone less harsh. "I know, I'm sorry," Cc replied, her voice tinged with regret.

"I should have trusted you. " Cairo shook her head, a slight edge of hurt evident in her eyes. "I should've," Cc acknowledged, her voice trembling.

"Tell me everything," Cairo demanded, her gaze steady now, the fury in her veins simmering down to a steady burn.

She could feel the weight of Cairo's eyes on her, waiting, expecting. "Okay, here it goes," Cc started, her voice hushed.

After what felt like a century of explaining, Cc finished her very detailed story of how she has been dealing with the spider-like behaviors. Cairo sat silently, absorbing everything. The room felt heavy with tension until finally, she spoke. "So, what exactly are you saying?" Cairo asked, her voice carefully measured.

"Well, I'm saying, I think I'm some sort of real life Spider-Man..."

Cairo's eyes widened, a mix of disbelief and intrigue flickering across her face. "But how can you be sure? " Cairo asked, leaning forward, skepticism still evident.

"I mean, have you like...ever seen a Spider-Man movie or read a comic? It's like practically the exact same thing as what I- we are experiencing." Cc began to rub the back of her neck. Just as she thought things were getting less complicated, they got ten times more complicated for the both of them.

Cairo sat back, processing Cc's startling revelation. "I mean, this is just insane," Cairo muttered to herself, struggling to wrap her mind around Cc's confession.

"Insane is kind of our thing, is it not?" The blonde chuckled trying to make light of the situation.

"Well yeah, but this is beyond our realm of insane Cc." Her voice was serious. "So you're telling me you've been crawling on walls and shooting webs?"
