Since the kiss, Lucy and Tim had been.. awkward. To say the least. Neither knew how to address the situation, but it didn't matter now. They had to push it aside, they had an undercover mission to carry out.

They were posing as a new, and very touchy couple, Jake and Sava. They were practically identical to Tim and Lucy. Jake was a little rounder and had slicked back hair, tattoos, and a terrible dress sense. Sava wore dark eyeshadow, questionable clothes, and her hair down, black and straightened.

They'd met the real Jake and Sava when Tamara, Lucy's roommate, came to the police station in her car and found 4 bags of heroin inside with Jake's fingerprints on it. Jake was renamed Dim, as he looked like Tim, but wasn't as smart.

And they found Sava through Jake, they figured they needed the couple to be there to make it look real. She was named Juicy because it was funny, more than anything.

THE NIGHT BEFORE.

Tim had arrived at Lucy's apartment a couple hours after shift ended. He was dressed casually, white t shirt, black pants, normal. Lucy the same, a white shirt and some casual jeans.

They sat on opposite ends of Lucy's beaten up couch.

"If we're gonna make this work, our backstory has to be airtight." Tim said.

"Agreed." Lucy said, "How did Dim and Juicy meet?" She asked, sipping a beer.

"At a barbecue." Tim said and sipped his own beer in turn.

"Mhm." She said with a small nod, then sighed, "That's lame."

"Really? You think you can do better?" He said, raising his hand in sort of disbelief, his arm was resting on the top of the sofa, his body facing her.

"Watch me." She said and placed her beer on the coffee table. She clasped her hands together, "Okay.. So, umm, you were on the run from the cops. A bank robbery gone wrong." She said, earning a couple of nods from Tim.

"You ended up in my building, frantic, looking for a place to hide, and.. and I opened the door for you." She said, a small smile on her face. He looked over her features as he listened, giving her an encouraging nod every so often.

"I lied to the cops for you." She said and picked up her beer again, "And.. oh. And it got me so hot that we hooked up while they were still searching the building." She said, in an almost proud tone.

Tim widened his eyes ever so slightly, his lips parted as if he wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say. "Okay." He said with a nod after a long pause, his eyes a little wide.

"Yeah, that- that- that's pretty good." He said and gave the sofa a pat. "Actually."

"Thank you." She said with a small, proud grin.

He glanced around the room and nodded slowly, "Mhm." She let out a quiet giggle.

He then suddenly turned to her, "So look.. We should- we should probably you know, talk about the elephant in the room." He said, she gave him a 'mhm' in response.

"You know- if we're gonna sell that we are actually boyfriend and girlfriend we might have to uh.." He gestured to her to finish the sentence.

"Have to- have to what?" She asked, a teasing glint in her eye.

"We might have to.." He gestured with his hand.
