Main woh barish hoon,
Jiska usko intezaar hain.
Par woh meri zameen nahi,
Ke main uspe baras jaau.
Main woh parinda hoon,
Jiski usko chaah hain.
Par woh mera darakht nahi,
Ke main uspe apna ghar banau.
Aap hamein sukoon bulate hai magar,
Lafzo meh yeh baat acchi nahi lagti.
Tufan-e-khayaal hoon main meri jaan,
Mere dil mein sukoon ki shama nahi jalthi.
